  1. KellysOvenGloves has got her knickers in a twist on this one. A complete and utter nonstory.
  2. A nothing story. Inbetweeners bravado from a spotty virgin. Should have done a Januzaj.
  3. Carla and Melissa the wholesome, bashful girls next door.
  4. Hull's a decent uni, very under the radar. Some decent unis in the North East as long as you don't go to Durham which is full of knobs. In response to the OP, Birmingham by a country mile. Got a friend who's a detective in the Met. She read English at Cambridge, so I guess the plod take all sorts provided the uni is decent.
  5. Never said I rated him above Morgan in an absolute sense, you clown. I simply said Mellis was showing good form at the time and should be starting as a more attack-minded midfielder. Pardew was experimenting with Morgan in different positions and it was taking time to adapt, as Morgan himself admitted. But have always rated Morgan - right from his first games in preseason against Wham and Celtic in the championship.
  6. Not really - thought Morgan would go on and be a player from day one - as yet, don't see it from JWP. He has potential but haven't seen a huge amount of development in 2.5 years to justify some of the hyperbole on here.
  7. Not particularly controversial - it's been said plenty of times on here.
  8. Exactly at some point it begins to matter where you lose players, not just how many you lose. Is it better to lose players spread through the team (defense, midfield, attack) or concentrated in one part of it?
  9. More deals, more contingencies, more things that can go wrong. If Lovren goes, we'll need to sign two CBs.
  10. Whatever the suggestion, it would come uncomfortably close to a New Labour manifesto track.
  11. Christ that's thick - the dribbling buffoon in your avatar could almost be a selfie.
  12. Welbeck is a hardworking but extremely limited footballer -puts in a defensive shift that compensates for some of the risk in playing him, a bit like Milner. Ultimately that doesnt change the fact that he plays like a blind person in a straitjacket in a cul-de-sac. Don't mind that he get's the nod, even if its all 'hipster' to make out that he's better than he really is.
  13. That Paul Pogba - he's utter gash. Fantastic decision by Fergie to get rid
  14. This all day long.
  15. Mindful it was only a friendly but he was excellent against Uruguay in their recent friendly.
  16. Exactly -and all the supposed saviours of the game -Barkley, Sterling, Sturridge, Rooney- were more guilty than anyone. A better Steve Davis would be ideal.
  17. By his standards, Suarez missed a sitter early in the 2nd half.
  18. Spot on.
  19. Changed your tune on Gerrard quite a bit. Otherwise agree with what you've written.
  20. The Swindon, Bournemouth and Brighton fixtures are deliberately against local sides - the last two are meant to pose more challenging opposition.
  21. We're meant to be playing someone decent, not some jock crap.
  22. Due a home game to start.
  23. Wingers and pace - what a dinosaur Excellent piece and I've been critical of the OP's stuff in the past.
  24. The loyalty and reciprocity card? That one was played ages ago. Wishful thinking.
  25. On a side note, good joke by Phil Neville about social media.
