99% of those goals were taken in or around the 6 yard box and came from crosses into that area. We don't have anyone who can deliver those types of balls and consequently Pelle is having to cope with a completely different style of play - one he ultimately may not be suited to. Yes, he should be given time, but it is extremely important that (a) the club do everything to buy in a two footed wide player capable of crossing...and (b) the coaching staff work with Pelle to identify strategies to maximise his potential. If these things are not done, he will have a poor season and this might also reflect on Koemans compentency too given the history between the two.

Lump it to Pelle or knock it back or side wards tactics appear to be the order of the day. Pelle has a huge task to make himself near the required standard - today his heading and trapping of the ball was woeful. JWP did not look comfortable in his position, however he was extremely unlucky not to score from the freekick. Tadic and Vic were great...the rest ok...just.

This could well be a bit of a wake up call...not an easy game atall to get a result and the longer it goes without us scoring the more chance of a defensive mistake letting them in. I'm predicting 1-1. It will be interesting to see if Gardos gets a start. Pelle will start...Ron favourite.
