Profiling this striker is essential, Ralph needs to lead on this signing rather than Crocker/Blackbox. Ings was much more than just our top goal scorer and this is where any ‘moneyball’ approach won’t work. Ings ability to combine on the edge of the 18 yard as well as the midfield/attacking third is a significant way we play. He was also incredibly effecting during attacking transitions. Very good at stealing possession, delaying play and forcing errors. It’s not just about replacing goals, other variables such as character and conduct are clearly essential to Ralph. The players linked so far are a mix of profiles, Sorloth & Abraham in comparison to Armstrong and then Madueke are very different. Then the financial package, the market is over the odds at the moment. 95% of the fees are well inflated, we will have to do very well get a striker on a financial package that presents a ‘good deal’. I think personally, we’ll move for Armstrong if wanting to replace Ings ‘like for like’. Still not convinced Edouard is out of the picture.

This launch is fucking horrendous, poor Kenzie having to ask ' found anything interesting one litter picking folks'?

Fair play, shame it's not all in time for the season kicking off but plenty of factors to delay that. Looking forward to seeing the changes.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's Matt Crockers/Dan Ashworths brain child back from at The FA. It looks to me that the individuals getting employed are academy graduates that fit the 'seasoned pros' that have played across multiple divisions rather than just PL players. I imagine their personal profile and coaching aspirations are a big consideration and almost a placement opportunity to complete their UEFA A/PRO licences. Personally, it's just a more structured and rationalised process of having a reserve team.

Dan Ashworth vs Matt Crocker this transfer saga

Strange, I don’t ever remember him joining on loan. I remember him playing in a friendly as a trialist at The Dell against Le Havre. (As I’m typing it, I’m starting to remember an England U21’s game @ The Dell so might be getting it all mixed up - think Beattie played)

Disappointed to say the condition of the stadium look's poor. The transparent plastic that circulates the stands is almost green with algae, the roof inside the stadium is almost black, a number of the metal joining's outside the entrances have running rust. A significant number of seats now discolored, yet we're prioritising padded seats. Must say the concourses appear to be in decent condition and having work done. Hopefully the items above are on the to do list this summer.

Coaching set up is an issue across the club. Look at the latest England youth squads and lack of Saints representation across all age groups. Do agree, buck stops at Ralph but there are much better coaches available.

Usual bellends chirping up with Jankewitz jibes. The lad is decent, wind your neck’s in. Perfectly viable shouts for him to be in squad.
-
MLG, any idea if you can edit the stadiums using the ingame editor? Currently a Hampshire Premier Team but the stadium has four stands. I've changed the stadium capacity and rating but nothings changed.

Let's just say it's caused a few shockwaves at a particular club regarding those not being offered deals. A number of those released are on trial with PL clubs as we speak.
-
Had to do an analysis report on him from the U20 World Cup, incredibly talented footballer. Youth team news but Saints also looking at Harvey Rew, released by Pompey, due to offer a trial.

JWP just scored the winning goal in the World Cup Final. He's since moved to Chelsea for £53 million, Ings has gone to Arsenal for £74 million.

Have to agree with this, in my opinion, if you have a playing philosophy you stick to it, that's your plan A, B and C. Problem with Ralph is his philosophy and use of the 4-2-2-2 is so ineffective.

Anyone seen that **** Kenwyne Jones giving his sixpence on Twitter. The fucking irony.

It’s odd, before the game I felt we’d either get battered or turn it on and win (I call it ‘a Southampton’ at work). We lost to the better team (just) due to naive defending during the transition which is a common theme. Losing 1-0 to Leicester is hardly surprising or anything to be ashamed of. Yet, I’m sat here with a notion of genuine rage mixed with a pit of bleakness. I’m so completely disengaged with the club, the team, the management, the academy, ‘Southampton way’ even the fucking foundation winds me up. Leicester were poor today and for the taking, yet we didn’t attempt to take any initiative, every move was made in caution to Leicester’s strengths. We have no identity, uniqueness, the club just stinks of a corporate sporting franchise with no soul (its claims the football club and the city is its soul). Ralph is tactically appalling and squad selection is stubborn bordering arrogant; the persistence in Nathan Tella, refuses to use Alex Jankewitz (btw Spurs, Mönchengladbach, Lyon and Basel are interested in), lack of understanding of Ings and Adams partnership. Walcott is just an enigma who we’re only signing due to personality traits (give him a job in the ducking foundation or back room staff). I can’t think of one player that has improved under Ralph, I did previously think JWP but even his style has changed significantly. Ramblings of a fucked off (arguably fickle) scummer who will be back for more once England let us down in the summer.

Fuck off Ralph you cvnt

Mixed bag of emotions still. Finding it hard to think rationally and not as a fan. I’m utterly bemused by Ralph, his playing philosophy and squad selection. It’s absolutely mortifying that the only players that attempt to play through opposition is our CB’s. Diallo & JWP just recycle possession and do it in some incredibly dangerous scenarios (matched up 3v3 or in an enclosed space). Diallo concentrating on not getting the second yellow. Redmond picking up spaces in between lines but does it every time with his hips square and back to goal, he either turns and then slows down or then turns and drags his touch sideways. Moussa, is just a rabbit in headlights, his ‘unorthodoxness’ is a sin as much as it is a blessing (he barely looks balanced) On the other hand, pleased we’ve not conceded but hate the fact we don’t attempt to light up the game, any Leicester attack has been at the fault of our own.

Cute. Must mean he's wank and should retire now and become a bricklayer just on that alone then. He's been one of the best U21 players in the group stages of the U21 European Championships stages.

Just fucking put Jankewitz on the pitch you twat.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Paul Hardyman goes for the academy manager job at Poopey

How do I add an image from my phone? It’s not an online image...

I hear this bollocks all the time in my job. How does it prove it's 'his level'? Bournemouth are a Championship club, Redmond has excelled in this game, so in your theory, it actually should show he's above that standard?

F******** get Jankewitz on
