  1. While I think they were all poor, would have to say (again) that James had as good a game as Harding and far better than the centre backs.
  2. They worked out that Trottman and Jaidi are not the quickest and to be fair Brighton's movement up front was exceptional. But all three goals would have been stopped by a defender doing what it says in the first line of every fecking training manual - STAYING GOAL SIDE... This was a lesson in complacency. Pardew even warned of it against Charlton. Too many fancy dan performances I'm afraid.
  3. Who asked for us to play 4-4-2?
  4. Just go to: http://www.iraqgoals.net Watched Portugal and all sorts on there last night.
  5. Agreed entirely. If you couldn't stomach the idea of a fight, feck off, you're not wanted.
  6. We are not Saints of OLD. If we do not win this by 2 or 3 clear goals we need to storm the stadium and burn it down.
  7. If we don't go up that would mean we will have been losing games to the same teams who will be in the league next season. In my view if we do not go up this season, going up next will be even harder. We are not currently losing to anyone and are winning the majority of our games. Let's keep it that way and go up this season, thanks!!!
  8. I just thank God for the DNA - The National Dyslexic Association.
  9. Yeah, take the p!55 out of the dyslexic why don't you!!!
  10. I don't think you can dispute that if we beat Charlton, Nowrich and Leeds will have beaten the three best teams in the competition, apart from ourselves.
  11. I would love it, love it if we beat them and then Hereford and then Leeds in the final!
  12. And like a host of previous managers of this club, evidently you failed.
  13. Anyone at home would have done me and this is excellent for our finances if we are genuinely going to be run as a business... Although thank God we now only need to worry about football!! I can see our lads being bang up for this game as a chance to establish their real credentials.
  14. Good work. I reckon winning 27 games (since I don't think we can win half a game!!) is possible. Tough but possible. We need to focus, not get carried away and to be able to handle the pressure that will inevitably build towards the end of the season.
  15. We started from the pit lane. But Jim is at the wheel and Herbie is cruising! Just enjoy the overtaking manoeuvres...
  16. Can you do me a favour - how many games do we need to win to average 2.57 points?
  17. Three points per game from now on will suit me fine. Especially as I don't recall the last time we won 2.57, 2.33 or 1.99 points for beating someone!!!
  18. Not that it is my job to defend others' comments, I believe he meant that the current table is no reflection on current form which if extrapolated over the remainder of the season will see a completely different shape to the table So while early season results are a matter of record, they may not be so significant in the long run. In the same way, that had Hitler only invaded Belgium we might all have turned a blind eye...
  19. Bang on. All we can do is win every game. In some games we might gain nothing on a team above us, in others we will leap if they fail (particularly of course this will happen if we beat that team). A run of wins from now until Christmas could see us bordering the top six easily and from there nothing is impossible!
  20. Astute observations for a man who argued with me about buying the most expensive players available...
  21. No, a former left back is writing it for me...
  22. We get the message FFS.
  23. Who is this 'Bartowski' of whom Francis Benali speaks?
  24. Aye, reminded me of Jesper Groenkjar...
  25. The fact is we are the most expensive team in the league. We should win every game, just as Chelsea should.
