Just said on TV we are 2nd lowest scorers in the whole 4 divisions. Sort of puts it into perspective. Thank God we got a great defence. I got a feeling we will win this one 1-3. Unless prowse starts....

I am still undecided on him. I wonder how much our results are actually down to his tactics etc or just because VVD has been on fire recently. What I do believe however is that his subs rarely if ever change the game. Especially if we are chasing a goal. We have some really tough games coming up. Spuds, Bompey and Everton. Add to that West Brom who are the surprise packages this year. Of the top 6 we are yet to play Spurs but the other 5 have been 3 defeats and 2 draws. With 2 goals scored and 7 conceeded. It is pretty remarkable that we are 9th considering we have actually only got 13 points from the last 30 on offer.

Same old story. Keep possesion and have no clue what to do with it. Only one team has scored less than us. Two wins from the last 8. God knows how we are 9th. We have some really difficult games coming up now so I suspect we won't be there for long. Unless we can start scoring goals of course.

Take the win any day. But let's be honest. If Boufal didn't conjure up some magic it would have been a draw. I felt Classie did well as did Mc queen. A pretty poor performance but 3 points was needed and that's what we got. Hopefully we can push on now.

Will be at this one. Was gutted I couldn't get to the inter game so hoping this one is just as exciting with a win for us at the end. I think it's make or break time. We have to put out our strongest team. If jwp, jay and Yoshida are in I will be royally ****ed off. Whole of last season will mean nothing if we **** this one up. However I expect a comfortable win. Austin and Tadic to score in a 2-0 win.

Fair play to Bompey they never gave up. Showed a lot of character. Not a massive fan of Howe but have to say he is doing great for them. Scoring goals and grinding out results.

I want some of what you guys are smoking as he has been awful this season. Don't see how he has progressed at all. When we are up against it and need someone to help create something to get us back in the game he never does it. Today was another example of how awful he is. Long balls to nobody. Side ways passes and back to defenders. **** corners and losing the ball too many times. Shouldnt be in the team at all. Sims is 5 years younger then him and looks a much better player already.

Are people really that surprised? Yeah sure Palace are crap and we have already beaten them (we beat them 8 of the last 9 games), they have 1 point from the last 21, 6 defeats in a row etc etc etc. But we are not exactly doing that great even if some like to think we are. 2 wins in the last 7 and one of those was against a poor Everton who didnt even bother to turn up. Our problem is and has been all season that we can't score goals. And on another note jwp has been horrific again. What people see in him is beyond me. If his name was Martina or Yoshida he would be destroyed for his performances this season.

Excellent performance so far! Boufal and Davis have been awesome tonight. Long needs a goal to boost his confidence I think. Some very poor touches from him so far.
