Out of interest how much do you pay per year supporting Saints? The fact you think it isn't about entertainment would suggest nothing right? Very easy to sit behind a keyboard and bash our supporters but at least they are out there paying a grand or more to watch the team. Are you saying they are getting value for money then?

Exactly. 8 defensive players is overkill. As someone said on tv the other day our problem is we used to try and win games regardless who it was against. We now try not to lose games and hope we can get something. We have won 2 of our last 10 games. The defensive **** does not work.

Redmond, Hoj and vvd have been pretty bad tonight. So far our best player has been Forster followed by Lemina. Bertrand looks like he couldn't give a **** too.

Getting rid of Mopo2 won't change the fact it is Reed who is picking these types of manager and these types of players. Would not surprise me one bit to find out Reed is picking the team sheet and tactics. After all he wanted to be a manager didn't he...

Exactly. We were playing awful football under Puel and that was why he was sacked. The problem is if we intended to play the exact same way with someone else why was he sacked? That imo is why Reed is the guy at fault for all this.

If we can keep it at 2-0 that will be a mini achievement.

Its going to be a tough one to predict this season I think. With the players Swansea have I think they are gone. Everton will get out of there as I think Palace will too. Can't see Newcastle, Burnley, Leicester, Watford going down. Huddersfield and Brighton have made great starts but if they can keep it up who knows. It looks as though the last 2 spots will be out of Palace, WH, Stoke, Saints, WBA, Bompey. WH with Moyes in charge will go ultra defensive and pick up a few draws but think they will go down as it stands. WBA with Pullis always pull a rabbit out of the hat and escape. So my picks would be Swansea, WH and Bompey. With us surviving with a game or two spare.

If I remember right at Celtic he was hated by the fans over an incident with Viduka. Something about Black telling him he was crap and not good enough (even though he was the leagues top scorer) and they almost came to blows over it. Black then went about getting him kicked out the club. Hence why they call him 'the grass'.

Find it quite remarkable how many people are actually happy with being average. For me I don't expect us to be a top 4 side, far from it. But we should be one of the teams fighting for that last euro spot. That doesn't mean I expect us to be 6th it means we should be closer to that then the relegation zone. People talk about money but seem to ignore the fact we are in the top 20 richest clubs in the world according to Deloitte. In the PL we are ranked 10th. So we have a better income then half the league. But the main thing I expect is the team to look like they give a ****. We gave up attacking football and went ultra defensive. We turned our back on the style that brought us success and decided to go West Brom 7 defence minded players on the pitch style. Half the players don't look like they care, some want out, the manager is clueless and the people above him have been found out. Say what you want about Cortese but he wouldn't settle for average and he wouldn't settle on staff not giving a ****.

To be fair to them since he took over they have had to play Citeh, Utd, Chelsea and Spurs. Getting 3 points from those games. They now have a lot easier fixture list. Where as we don't. I imagine by the end of the year the 11 point gap we have on them will have decreased.

Pathetic from the players. So many of them don't look like they care. If we lose this Reed and Black have to go. I don't blame Pelegrino. He was given the job by Reed who should have kept Puel on if he wanted us to continue to play the same boring style of football. VVD has been garbage since he came back. Redmond is championship level at best. We play 1 up front at home to ****ing Burnley. The same old **** week after week. Things need to change and imo that's Reed and the coaching staff. These people shouldn't be anywhere near this level.

Think the commentator summed it up pretty well - After we scored we changed and went defensive trying to settle for 0-1. Suicide tactics in the PL and shows a lack of understanding of the league from the manager. We were really poor today and against any team with a bit of quality in it we would have been murdered. VVD, Tadic and Hoedt were awful. Romeu looked like the only one who gave a ****.

Got to be honest we have both been very poor. JWP has done **** all since that free kick.
