There's a hovercraft on the pitch, as if we've never seen one of them before. -

Around the same sort of time, perhaps even in the same game, I remember Fernandes taking a corner in the Chapel-Kingsland corner and somehow managing to run at it at an angle which meant he ran into and kicked the corner flag. -
The most embarrassing saints chants you have ever heard?

Just like when other fans think it's hilarious to sing 'play up pompey' to us. -
82% now. Keep going I say.

The others are starting to catch up!

It seemed pretty stupid that they just advertised '£15 tickets' at the Borough game without really making it clear that you had to have bought a Chapel ticket for that game. I'm sure it was in the small print on the big screens but at a glance you just saw a big '£15' and I'm sure the pitch announcer didn't mention having to buy a Borough ticket.

Yup, look at his cross for the first goal at Plymouth away last season, and that was with his left foot. His crossing from deep seemed like it was a conscious tactical decision on Saturday, as Middlesborough's formation meant there was more room in deep areas and less further towards their penalty area.

The tackle was horrendous, it would have injured anyone regardless of their injury history.
-
Lambert and Sharp up front would scare the sh*t out of most defenses in this league.
-
Had to be done.

I'm a bit stuck with this at the moment. I've done 3 away games so far, but only 1 is registered to my user number. I am not techincally a Season Ticket holder- according to the Saints records, but have a friend's season ticket for the rest of the season, as he bought one then decided to go travelling. Therefore I'm thinking of booking a Bristol City ticket on my friend's season ticket, then applying through that. My question would then be, will the person who goes to the game have to be the person who's name is on the season ticket with which they applied?

How many sold so far for boro?
for_heaven's_Saint replied to The Majestic Channon's topic in The Saints
Well the OS article says 'early indications show that the attendance this weekend is likely to surpass the current second highest figure of the campaign which was set at the opening fixture of the season against Leeds United.' The attendance against Leeds was 25,860. The wording of the OS article suggests that the attendance is 'likely' to surpass this amount, and therefore hasn't yet, so we can probably assume that we have so far sold somewhere between 24-25k and they are expecting to sell a few more today and have a few walk up tomorrow. Therefore a crowd of between 26k and 27k is probably likely. -
I think we may see Martin and Hooiveld at the back for this one.
-
Though Middlesborough don't concede many, Derby did hit the crossbar 3 times, so I'm sure we will have our chances.

Forte. Needs more playing time, or just not good enough?
for_heaven's_Saint replied to CWD's topic in The Saints
Got back go the pub after the game last night and started chatting to a couple of Palace fans. To my astonishment one of them's first comment was that he thought Forte looked a threat up front. I paused for thought, considering perhaps that I was putting a negative slant on his performance due to preconceptions about his (in)ability. However, after a moment's thought, I concluded that the Palace fan was an idiot who knew nothing about football and wasn't watching the game properly. Forte was, unfortunately, abysmal, and I don't think it was a case of him needing match practice. I honestly think if Barnard or Lambert had started in his place, we would have won the game.
