Surely someone has a radio they can take!

Thanks for your help. Not sure why I have never been introduced to Copac before. I'm not at UCL but I believe my student card allows me entrance into their library- possibly even to take out books. Thanks again. I hate it when people talk about you when you're still in the room.

If we win on Saturday: Good for Saints, Bad for Bournemouth

What a really insightful and useful contribution. -
Not sure I like the inclusion of the letter 'P' in that one. If there was a number after 'SFC' it would read like a scoreline.

Not exactly unfair but annoying that Brighton got given so many more tickets than us.
-
I probably could tbh, I bet they don't even bother checking. Knowing my luck though one of my teachers probably knows the authors or something.
-
Yeah thanks Bath Saint. I did see that they had it in there earlier on and I may well do that, though it would be helpful to have a copy I could take out and bring home with me.
-
Thanks for that, I'll have a look if I can't find any cheaper.
-
Thanks. Had a look but like Waterstones they have the record of the book but none in stock. Perhaps I can request a copy- I'll look into that. Could do- not sure how cheap the shops round there would be though? Never really been in any of them tbh.

I don't understand why he didn't have a copy of his own record? If I had written this book then I'm sure I'd have a copy.
-
The other question evidently is why can't I use amazon properly. Thanks for that- £35 is pretty cheap for an academic book, would still like to pay less if possible but may have to go for that one.

I'm just searching the British Library website, but it seems for some reason no-one has a copy. Senate House Library is massive and they don't have it :-/

Hi All, I desperately need to get hold of a book for my dissertation but it's not in any of the London Uni libraries, or any of the big book shops and the only place I can find it online, other than a website that only ships to the US, is on amazon, where it is $176! The book is Dickens: The Orphan Condition by Baruch Hochman and Ilja Wachs. The ISPN is: 9780838637753 Does anyone know of any good and cheap online book stores, or even local dealers/shops that may have it available? If so please could you post me a link/contact details etc so that I can stop pulling my hair out? Thanks.

One of the mini buses drove past me on the way back from the Yeovil game- very nice it was.

Danson Butterdodd

Mickie Parbert- the speed and touch of Pahars with the power and strength of Lambert.

Jochael Fonsson. Killer and Fonte to make the ultimate CB.

I've been doing that all season and a lot of the time we have done, but we've dropped points in places we really shouldn't have, such as Walsall, so I don't have the confidence we can notch enough points to finish 2nd. Then again if we win today I will probably be mr optimistic because I am a fickle fan.
-
I agree entirely. Have tried to be so positive all season and now I'm resigned to the fact that we really are not good enough.
-
Where is the earliest place to see the team sheets?
-
I put it to you all that if we can not win one game out of Walsall and Colchester away, we are not one of the best 2 teams in this league. However, it's not always the best two that finish in the top two.
-
Oh yeah I forgot Colchester, but I think we may lose anyway. As for the Maths- you're right, it makes 30, not 27- will correct it.

Here's my two pennies worth: Tue 8 19:45 H Yeovil Town No excuses- win. Sat 12 15:00 A Bournemouth Think we will raise our game- win. Sat 19 17:20 H Sheffield Wed On Sky, Sheff Weds can be good on their day- Draw. Tue 22 19:45 A Charlton Charlton aren't great but think they'll raise game against us- Draw. Sat 26 12:30 A Plymouth Sh*t and only getting sh*tter- Win. April Sat 2 15:00 H MK Dons No Excuses- Win. Tue 5 19:45 H Charlton No excuses- Win. Sat 9 15:00 A Leyton Orient Doing well this season- Draw. Tue 12 19:45 A Rochdale Will out battle us- Lose. Sat 16 15:00 H Bristol Rovers No Excuses- Win. Sat 23 15:00 A Brighton Can't see us getting anything- Lose. Mon 25 15:00 H Hartlepool No Excuses- Win. Sat 30 15:00 A Brentford Usually decent at home, but if we want it enough- Win. May Sat 7 15:00 H Walsall No excuses- Win. I think that those results are fairly realistic and although there will be excuses made at times and we may not win those we're expecting we may well win some of those we are not- think Norwich away last season. This would gain us a further 30 points, meaning we would finish the season on 82 points.
