Last minute bid for Puncheon more likely. -
Also worth noting that he's left footed.

I foresee us all up at 1am tomorrow trying desperately to think of an excuse for why our new signings haven't been announced yet. Sincerely hope I'm wrong! -
Seems like the best option.

According to itv yesterday Crawley are a bunch of arrogant c*nts. Should get on well with Manure!
-
Agree that we could do with a quick striker and Jackson would be ideal. Can't see us offloading Barney though.
-
They would have been in the ex-saints box.
-
More chance of signing Ray Mears.

Had a look on the United official website yesterday and bizarrely they publish paper speculation stories on there. They had a small article from the sun about their supposed interest in AOC but no quotes or evidence.

Lol, wouldn't it be great if we all wore the colour of united's shirts so they couldn't see each other like the good old days. Except of course that we'd all look like Manure fans...

From Wikipedia: Criticisms After the 2009 Manchester derby at Old Trafford, Atkinson was criticised by Manchester City's then-manager Mark Hughes for bad time-keeping after Manchester United had scored an injury-time winner. The fourth official had signalled four minutes of additional time, but Michael Owen scored a 96th-minute goal, handing United a dramatic 4-3 win.[11] Atkinson was defended by former referee Graham Poll, himself considered one of England's greatest officials,[12] who pointed out that during injury time itself there had been a goal celebration, a substitution and a delay caused by a fan on the pitch.[13] The incident led to City questioning the late appointment of Atkinson to the 2010 Manchester derby.[14] In September 2009, Atkinson was handed a one-week demotion to the role of fourth official after a time-keeping dispute with Everton manager David Moyes. Everton had scored two injury-time goals to make the score 3-3 against Manchester United, but Atkinson then blew his final whistle while Everton were midway through an attack with a chance of a winner.

The only advantage we have over the others, other than the possibility we may be offering more money, is our location.

Probably going to St Marys tomorrow when him, Guly and Chaplow are there so I will ask him!
-
Just to confirm, he has never played under Adkins before. He was on loan to Scunny in November, when Adkins was here.

We could possibly cause that back line, minus Vidic, a couple of problems. Those forwards will tear us apart.

This thread has made me realise I don't know that much on any particular subject other than Saints. Would possibly do the life and works of William Blake.

Surely by withdrawing the woman from a game they are supporting the notion that she is different to male officials??
-
I didn't think they could get any worse !

Hopefully this means that if I change the Daily Echo's Wikipedia page so that it says they shut down in January 2011 they'll just stop writing. -
If you like real ale, try the Wheatsheaf in London Bridge. Nice pub and they have quite a few TVs that show sports.

We have more chance of signing Austin Powers IMO. We already have Dr Evil in centre midfield...

That team looks a bit one sided

Let's have a look at some possible on-field battles based on their 3rd round team and as close to the team that played Blackpool as we'll probably have available: Lambert Vs Ferdinand Barnard Vs Evans Guly Vs Rafael Chamberlain Vs Evra Harding Vs Nani Schniederlin Vs Fletcher Chaplow Vs Carrick Richardson Vs Giggs Martin Vs Hernandez Seaborne Vs Berbatov Hmmmmmm...
