Indeed, and there's no way we're going to pay over a million for anyone unless they're a 'first name on the teamsheet' type player like Fonte or Lambert. Is it the right wing Pilkington plays on?

For the sake of an inch I'd much rather keep Richardson in the team, who I think is very solid, more so than Butterfield. Especially when you consider that Tranmere's main attacking threat comes from the left wing in Dale Jennings. If Chaplow and Hammond are both injured we may see Puncheon in the middle with Harding Lb and Dickson Lm.

Seems crazy that footballers can earn so much for so long and be left with nothing to show for it.
