Would be confident(ish) if we made it to half time at 0-0.

If we can get back the majority of what we paid for him and invest it in an attacking player more suited to our system and the league, I'd be more than happy to see him go.

Great goal! -
As Pep Guardiola once said of Pochettino's Espanyol side: '"There are teams that wait for you and teams that look for you: Espanyol look for you'. If we wait for United, we will get beaten. If we go looking for them, press them high, chase every ball and don't give them a moment's rest on the ball, we have a great chance at getting a result.

Was hilarious when Wanyama was rolling around in the corner on his own as Swansea stormed forward into our half.

I'm amazed that people haven't been impressed, though not surprised if you've only seen him on TV. Personally I think he's been decent and will only get better. I don't think he's great at running at players, but is good around the box.

Just think, we'd need to finish above Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Liverpool or Spurs to get top 6. Then you have the likes of Everton and Swansea to top if you want top 8. -
He didn't start in either of our league wins?

Surely the fact that it was at St. James' park was quite significant to this result? Not quite sure why he has 3-0 instead of 0-3.

Least surprising news of the season.

Thank you. and thank you. As for the line up, it still looks a strong team, but Lambert and Osvaldo must click soon if they're going to continue to play together IMO. Also, we're going to be very narrow again. Maybe we'll play on the counter attack?

Could we please post links to any streams we have on here? Don't want to have to listen to Merrington!

I see where you're coming from, but would argue this doesn't really apply to top of the table away from home. For me, this reasoning applies to playin those 'bus Parkersburg' away (e.g Norwich) and the teams that play (e.g Liverpool) at st Mary's. -

We didn't spend £17million on anyone. I agree we can pick out individual performances as poor but overall we're not looking like a good, attacking team at the moment. There's no fluidity, no pace in either passing or running with the ball and no cutting edge. -

Regardless of who we have and havent signed, we're scoring less goals and playing less attractive football with the same players (plus additions) that we had under Adkins when we were free scoring at times. Yes, we've conceded a lot less but that's now enough on its own.
