'St Mary's' is short and I bet 9999 out of 10000 football fans would know it's our ground.

If only Cortese was here!

Hmmm. Anything pre-76 would change that course of events. Anything pre-Leibherr would change that course of events. Anything pre-last season would Change the events that led to promotion. Wouldn't want to affect our great start to the season. Therefore I would have to go for Olivier Giroud. Started our run of bad form this season. What a ****.

I like this bit: 'Finally, let me say this. I will ensure that all decisions made about the future of the club will be in the best interests of its staff, players, management and fans and will be taken with the prime objective of honouring and maintaining the club's heritage and tradition in the Southampton way.'

We can't let him go without bringing someone else in. Osvaldo is almost certain to pick up an injury or another suspension at some point in the rest of the season.

Strongest possible team please. We're not going down, not moving up the league, got to go for the cup.

Listening to Solent, just heard one of their new players, who has seemingly come in from a troubled club in Turkey (?) saying, and I quote, 'there should be more protection for players who don't get their wages' then continuing to praise Pompey as a club.

Boing boing!

1. This situation wouldn't exist if Markus was alive. 2. Why would he choose Cortese over his own daughter?

Is that actually him?

Big Vic training in the videos...

Have heard that he's not exactly up to the talent of the others there...

Does Bale still count as a defender?

I think you'll find that a lot of the ex-saints organisation have never stopped attending St Mary's. I think they may even have a box? They're a good bunch, having met them at a London Saints event a couple of years ago. Not too fond of Cortese mind you...

It would be a no to Adkins from me. Rarely works out 2nd time round.

How apt that in our hour of need this thread of comfort finds itself on page 1885.

Where does Les Reed fit in?

Don't cry for me Pochetinno

Alec Crook is such a bullsh#tter.

Was going to say the same thing. We need him for quick counter attacks. Personally I'd go unchanged from West Brom.

Wouldn't you have to drive over it like 20 times to pay £10 a day? 50p off peak isn't it?

I think the only doubt there could be is that he looked up at and then tried to pass to Lambert rather than Lallana, which would be quite hard to prove either way. The point is he made a good forward pass that few of our other players would even attempt.

Yeah seen that now, fair enough. Still capable of a result up there. Boruc makes such a difference.

Would be great to have Victor back for this one.
