  1. It's on beIN1 if you can find a stream (I have an OSS sub). Not English commentary though:(
  2. I use XBMC, but it does cost for a decent solution. I got fed up with Sports Devil. Offside Streams costs £10.99 a month and offers HD streams for a lot of matches. However, it also offers loads of other channels inc Sky Movies. I pay another £2pm for Ontapp.TV and link the two so I have a nice EPG for Offside Streams. There are other free addons I can link into Ontapp.TV as well such as FTV, Cliq, NaviX, TV Catchup, etc. End result is all the sport/movies I want plus all the usual cable TV channels, in a nice EPG, for £13pm. Massive savings compared to what I'd pay Sky. You do have to accept that it sometimes drops out, or stutters, as it's playing via the Internet at the end of the day. So far, I'm very happy with this.
  3. I've got an OSS subscription and watching SportsNationHD via that is always superb. I watch it via the OSS XBMC addon on a Raspberry Pi. £10.99 a month and I get all sport, movies, etc. Bargain.
  4. I'm most amused (and confused) by the 1 person with a club of "None".
  5. LLP - every Saints striker in the club's history has missed chances similar to or easier than that. And that's players who have played for the club longer than a few days and had more match time for the club than minutes. It's a good job you aren't a football scout.

  7. What an embarrassing thread/idea.
  8. You can add this to your google account and sync with an iphone by going to: http://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect Tick the calendar and save. Re-sync on the iphone

  10. This thread has made excellent reading and has cheered me up. Makes you realise how far we have come! This one is my fav:
  11. Save it for when we sign Dean Windass.
  12. I bet the Board are regretting releasing Guly now.
  13. I'm really gutted about this one. Have tried to remain optimistic, but I genuinely fear for our club now. We are a laughing stock. Depressing times & I just want to punch RK in his smug American face right now.
  14. So I guess the questions remains ... "What is the strategy?"

    Do we boo him?

Football fans are a right fickle bunch. Outrage when he joins us, outrage when he leaves us. This makes good reflective reading of where we were before he joined: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/saints-fans-protest-with-white-hankies-to-greet-mauricio-pochettino-8458816.html Whilst the manner of his leaving is disappointing, it does not warrant booing. I think he's made the wrong decision, but it's his decision to make. All the best to him I say - provided we stuff Spurs twice next season!
  16. Still waiting for mine Steve Grant ;-)
  17. Emergency load rules: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20130704/section-6-players_2293633_2125731#53 This is an interesting one: "53.3.4 Notwithstanding the provisions of Regulations 53.3.2 and 53.3.3, a Player cannot be registered on an Emergency Loan or Youth Loan: © in the second half of the Season, after 5pm on the fourth Thursday in March unless in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 54." I make that 5pm TODAY.

Below are some extracts from the Comments Forms received during the consultation: “This is a not to be missed opportunity to improve a large area of land in the middle of the City.” – PO16 7NR “This it is a brilliant idea for the support of the club and the generating of jobs for the area.” – PO4 8RB “Most impressed with display and staff. Good luck!” – PO2 7HN “Very impressed with all aspects of proposed development. Has definitely needed doing for years. Good luck everyone!!” – PO2 9JY “Can we get this done by tomorrow please!!” – PO15 5NS “All plans look very impressive – can’t wait.” – PO2 9JY “Additional large scale shopping is needed in this area (see large queues in ASDA) seems a win win for all concerned” – PO5 2JG “I support this proposal as it should benefit Portsmouth Football Club” – PO2 7RX “The idea of the plan is good. I hope it all takes place.” – PO2 9HU “The future of the Club is all looking much more secure and think the new Tesco store will enhance the prospects of our club moving forward. We have both supported the Club since the early 1950w and our family who come along too.” – PO6 1HS “I do hope the City Council Planning Department will approve this scheme” – PO4 8AX
  19. I went to Sunderland mid week around 2003 (?) when we won 1-0. We had under 300 there for that match. Wasn't much more difficult to get to than this weeks trip to Hull. That was a wretched trip ... got the 2am train from Newcastle > Leeds. Sat around in a deserted Leeds station for an hour & then got back into London at 7.30am. Was in work (in London) at 9am. Knackered is an under statement. Whilst we are taking more away these days, I'd argue the quality of support was better back then.
  20. I live up this way (Newcastle) and based on todays weather, I can't see why it would be called off. In fact, I don't think we've had any weather this winter which has been bad enough to postpone a Premier match. I'll eat my pants if it's called off.
  21. I suspect they are trying to track down the fan, as they could use him as some sort of motivational coach. Why not expand the fan-owned approach to fan-led/fan-managed/fan-coached? In fact, why not just get all the fans to play as well. Poopey could revolutionise this "fans club" malarkey!
  22. Spot on. Yoshida though ....
  23. Um, I hope we don't respect them too much. Lets respect them as much as we did at SMS earlier in the season please.
  24. I reckon most people will pick between Hull and Sunderland .... so estimating 700 for each. I don't blame anyone for not going tbh. I'm lucky (if you want to look at it that way) that being based in the North, Sunderland and Hull are both pretty easy to get to. Although I am getting sick and tired of the Stadium of Light. I want them to go down PURELY so I don't have to go to that hole next season
  25. I googled the Heineken thing, purely out of interest, and this was one of the first results: http://www.thebeertutor.co.uk/foreign-2/ "Heineken UK is part of Heineken International, based in the Netherlands, with three breweries in Britain. Although these breweries produce several beers with foreign origins, all the Heineken-branded beer sold in Britain comes from the group’s brewery at Zoeterwoudein, south of Amsterdam." Not laying claim to one website being more right than another - but it does highlight that there is an argument to be had. Although it seems the argument has been well & truly done here ha ;-)
