Yes and he is very good but playing him wont change anything at all in an attacking sense, if anything Wanyamas better defensively then cork so releases Morgan a bit more as we saw yesterday. Not got anything against cork Do keep up sunshine -
Wanyama, lallana, J Rod, Morgan, Lambert, Osvaldo all had a very poor touch at times last night. Atleast J Rod drove at the defence at times instead of slowing play, letting them reposition and then attempt to break them down. For that reason Id keep him in there. For all his ability Lallana is slowing frustrating me, yes he can beat a man but doesnt know what to do when he does, his game slowing tactics irritate me aswell. Lambert looked ok yesterday but he is at times guilty of slowing things down too but his ability on the ball and better decisions save him from my wroth. I dont get the criticism of J Rod so much though, works hard and is always involved in the action whenever Ive seen him this season.

Boruc Clyne Lovren Fonte Shaw Wanyama Schneiderlin Lallana Ramirez J Rod Osvaldo I woukd be close to dropping Lallana for JWP too as he has been very poor so far.

They were not the worldies they were made out to be but were decent saves. He did keep them in the game. I felt he got lucky with the osvaldo chance. On hindsight we probably should of nicked it but IMO shoukd isnt good enough and as I have been saying since the end of last season we are struggling to score which is worrying. Slowing things down when we are on the counter is not the answer. -

Its that age old thing when a player is out of the side for a period he becomes infinately better, the thing is we are struggling to score goals, not letting in too many. Corks inclusion isnt going to change much there as Wanyama is a very effective ball winner despite the fact that his retention is poor. I thought Lambert looked ok if not spectacular. His link up with Ossie is improving but his lack of any pace whatsoever is telling. Lallana was terrible, slows down play, poor touches, poor delivery, he worked hard but was totally ineffective. J Rod was good for me despite the criticism he gets on here, his touch was off but he wasnt the only one. What he did give us was direct running and tried to get WHU on the back foot instead of slowing things and letting them regroup -

A penalty is given for a deliberate handball, it clearly wasnt deliberate. If it was given against us Id be annoyed, it should have been a corner. -

I dont think Sunderland outperformed us either but I am getting worried at the lack of goals -
Its obviously his fitness, the same as why Ramirez was subbed at that time too

Ramirez, J Rod, Isgrove, JWP, Osvaldo, Davis, Guly, Lallana, Lambert can all play in the top 3 positions. Punch is inconsistant and had as many poor games as good, plus he wanted to move to London due to his family. You need to try harder Dune -
Really ? Boruc has always stood out for me as a very very good keeper. Pathetic thread

We arent ****, we are just too slow. Puncheon really isnt that goid, he popped up with a few goals but last year he gave the ball away a lot. Makes me laugh that he has now been elevated to godlike status and the answer to our prayers despite the fact we couldnt score last season either -

Dont know why J Rod gets slated so much, he is easily our most direct attacking threat, played well today. Lallana, Lambert and Ossie seem to hold on too long and allow the opposition to regroup. Id have bought Gaston on as he is direct aswell, but there we go. Wanyama is quality defensively but he gives the ball away too much -

Jaaskelainen played well, we dominated possession again but we are struggling to put the ball away. We seem to want to overplay but everyone was guilty of poor touch today for whatever reason -
Yup, terrible, terrible manager......

Ill have to look around certain sites for a good deal soon then

Im talking about the conspiracy that Gerrard wants better options upfront with the return of Sturridge, Welbeck and Rooney who are in all honesty better options that you have described as the fact that SG wants his 'mates' back despite the fact its been reported and looks as though RL gets on very well with the England team. And then some crap about the fact that Cole didnt pass to him as being some form of old boys club bullying ? Yes I only saw the second, all I can say is that he must have been excellent in the first as his 2nd half performance was poor

I imagine he was attempting to unsettle Sharp, likelyhood is we just said we wouldnt entertain a drop in wages and mandric thought if he released this to the press it would make Sharp think the same.
-
He is earning enough doing bugger all here, which is part of the problem unfortunately

Maybe not ever ever But it was a pretty stupid statement

That is the most rediculous thing Ive ever heard

I always thought Yoshi was MPs first choice, but due to internationals came back to pre season needing a rest and Fonte took his chance.
