I have had a few thoughts, for his potential, his immediate ability and possibility of moving I think that Damiao is a v good signing. You could get Negredo, Bony cheaper, whats Llorente doing these days ?
-
Personally I think he is very reliable, did you not get his previous shouts ? I would never have seen him coming, or us moving there !!!!!
-
Im excited to see what new material your going to move to when the TW is shut and Guly no longer is at the club ?!?

You dont need as many legs in the hole dictating play as you do upfront IMO -
Of course they did, Cortese and Les only had a say in those that failed Dune

Last year we spent a lot of time chasing players uninterested in trying their luck at a newly promoted team, its much easier to attempt to get those players this year but there are other problems, i.e negotiations. Plus, I wouldnt be too worried yet, every year with every team the majority of work is 'concluded' towards the middke to end of the window, it doesnt mean nothing is happening.

Same as most sports journalists, it will be hit or miss, if they got 80% correct then they would A. be very rich and B. probably not journos anymore. Some are worth listening to more than others, some are even bang on the money but never 'proven' correct, I.E a club will never come out and say "yeah we were in for Chris Packet but it turns out his nan doesnt much like West Quay". Thats the problem with telling people the rumours you hear, even if you are a genuine ITK, if it doesnt work out your labelled a liar

We spent a lot of time trying to get Astori, for whatever reason it didnt happen, was close in Jan apparantly but we were not PL definates then. Now ? Well, a lot changes. The more senior coaching staff at Staplewood occasionally get asked opinions on potential signings, Astori was one of those.

The locations staying put then !

The Wanyama agent is a classic in the examples you talk about. As there are no set 'limits' then he can realistically charge what he wants. Also in this case, he only has two players, Wanyama and Pienaar, realistically he is only going to get any real cash from Victor, and so is trying to get a final pay day. Now, the payment CAN come from either the player or the buying club (or even selling) but that fee is his fee. In this case I agree with NC, and if I was Victor Id question whether the agent has the players best interests at heart, in normal cases though agents want 5% and NC only wants to pay a max of 3%, that is the 'inexperience' Nixon talks about, realistically NC needs to realise he hasnt much of a choice with the caliber of players he wants.

I used to make reasonable posts back then too, but no, cant be arsed with the e-scraps, I only pop on here every now and again so its hard to keep up with them. Ive since replaced my scraps with longish posts that nobody ever seems arsed to read

Holy theme for this years kit - just a theory

Ive meant to change that for ages TBF, your not nearly as annoying as you used to be. Cortese is a stickler on agent fees, which is strange as he seems happy enough to spunk cash on transfers and wages.
-
Because there is no specific rulings to it, there is generally an accepted fee of around 5% but some agents demand more, few less.
-
Muniesa hasnt been released as he isnt good enough, unfortunately you cant explain everything within the constraints of game programing. All i am saying is at times players move on, some want game time over mobey etc He is a good player and a great free signing
-
Im sort of between Hypo and MLG on this one, a couple of the deals will come off but Id also like him to just turn around and get the deals done. If some of these players want to come, but want an extra 500k for the agent just do it, the TV money for a higher placed finish will pay for it
-
Your right but the compensation via tribunal works by a valuation of the players worth, then you will get further payments dependant on internationals and first team games etc. Considering Bostock flopped ensured they got next to nothing Anyway, sorry for doing an MLG

Man Utd released Pique, and Barca may lose Thiago cheaply, it happens, I know you love the pedantry but sometimes I feel like your frothing at the gash to prove someone wrong.
