They possibly did not get yhe team to perform as well as perhaps they could but they didnt exactly fail, and to say they should have delivered a trophy when they are up against the likes of Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland and France is laughable. Ok, so perhaps we can state that the french and dutch managers failed with the level of talent on display but England ? Downing certainly isnt as bad as many make out, like I said before I remember that Lucas Lieva was the worst player in the prem at one point, despite my insistsnce otherwise, now he is regarded as Liverpoools lynchpin, funny how majority opinion is regarded as gospel.

That was the assist leader the year before.... Good ol king kenny. If you get him cheap enough, and give him confidence and coax the best out of him then he could be a great player. He is however, essentially a winger, and we play with an attacking midfielder and two inside forwards, so you need to ask yourself woukd he fit the system.

The match engine is terrible this year, makes the game pretty unplayeable IMO on my saints save, season 3 Norwich won the premier league, Xmas season 4 they are bottom and have only won twice.

If its been missed from the refs match report then he will probably be hit with a ban, and I imagine that its been missed as, like you said, he wasnt sent off for it. Shearer was retrospectively banned I believe, others too, I imagine he will be hit with a ban, I missed MOTD last night though.

I think it'll be a great achievement from him, he is a decent up and coming manager and has built a cohesive unit, he does make a few tactical mistakes though make no bones about it. And as much as he has do e very very well we as a club have spent a phenominal amount of money TBH culminating on the 30m this year, perhaps it was necessary, I think it was to build a solid foundation, personally we wont know if Adkins is truelly great until perhaps next year or the year after when we will see how his players bed in. We have not gone out and bought prem experience, we have bought players for the next few years in mind. Relegation this year woukd be unnacceptable, mid table respectable, and no Im not going to look down at what Adkins has done, I just like to be a bit more objective about things.

Ive never understood this in regards to Harry, at the end of the day Harry is not the custodian of these clubs, he is not in charge of the overall financial state of the club, not the purse strings. Ok he has spent some money, what managers have not at some point ? At the end of the day it is the chairman of said clubs that have gambled on the financial future of their clubs, they dont have to blindly fund a manager spending his budget. If I was appointed as a manager and got a sizeable fund to spend i certainly wouldnt question the expertise of the chairman, thats not my job, my job is to get the best out of players I have and I buy and achieve success. And for all of the crap that gets posted about Harry, he regularly achieves success.

I would love it if chelsea lost this, I have NO affinity to chelsea any more, used to quite like them but their policy of dumping anyone who goes through any bad patch managerially is pathetic.

You need to explain that we can express quantities as either a fraction or a number. Perhaps get 10 sweets or something and arrange into four quarters. i.e four sweets. Prove that the whole amount is 100%, 4/4ths and so 1. If you take one sweet away you are left with 3/4ths, or 75% which can also be express as 0.75 as you now you have removed a part of the original whole unit and are expressing that missing fraction as a decimal. What is it the ten year old is struggling with ? The concept of fractions ? Percentages or decimals ?

It could be Adkins, it could be thr boardroom, neither of which seem to like letting any little snippets get into the press, Ui can see the merits to this. Never really understood why all of you precious flowers need to know every in and out going on at the club, what difference does it really make ? What an absolute ton of bandwagon ********, I have heard a lot about scapegoats in my time, for many different clubs, Downing is just another one. I remember about 2 years ago I said Lucas was probably one of liverpools best players and they would seriously miss him if he wasnt there, I was called an idiot.. Downing was outstanding at Boro, and was the prem assist leader for Villa which prompted the 'pool to pay an overpriced £20m on him. As Chez said, he wasnt even that bad really, and in a cut price deal I would snap their hands off. Fact is, people forget, Downing, Henderson and Carroll were in the form of their lives before killer kenny came along and ruined their careers, still, ask a liverpool fan and he was a great manager not given proper backing

Why are so many on here finding this such a difficult subject FFS ? All is being asked is what value would you put on a premiership game of football right jow, not knowing how good the game will be as you never know that, just if you were asked to price the average game what would you find reasonable ? Personally I say between £20 and £25 is about reasonable for a premiership game at St Marys currently
