12 hours pfffft I did a 22 hour shift on Thurs, culminating in walking miles in the new forest.

I remember qeueing at the Dell for tickets against Man Utd back in the day. I am not that fussed right now, they have no massive outstanding players i would love to watch play and we are more than likely going to use. Plus its not cheap, plus its on the TV, plus none of the lads are fussed. I'm out

He is bound to be better than Hammond, and younger too.

900 and something i think Work your way up from 900, slowly.....actually don't you probably won't make it

I don't think there is some sort of major master plan to bring down the kingdom of Cortese and the ride in as a valiant hero to SFC. I do however think it is very likely that certain ex members of the boardroom/club know certain aspects of players contracts or inside information and are perhaps using this to damage the club/cortese ?? Under who's stewardship was Chambo's new contract signed BTW ?

A ?? I fall into the 40% tax bracket, it sucks but at the end of the day i take home more than i did when i was paying 20% tax. I don't see what the fuss is, no doubt he is very very comfortable.

You can't drop a player for one bad game surely

I don't know who he is, who is he ??

Behave MLG Your either a Pedant or a Stato, please don't start the PC Bullcrap aswell. *seeing as Political correctness is actually a tonne of bullsh*t that not only makes no sense but gives a sort of secret coat of armour to those that believe it actually accounts to anthing at all.

We are not a one man team FFS, Lallana has had bad games and we have won. Last year Lambert was prolific, this year he is not, but others have stepped up. We will see the same.
-
As i said before mate. We are not a one man team, bookies do not make one man teams champions elect. And as good as Lallana is, he is not the Maradonna to the 80's Argentina. We have other players, on paper, some very very good players that most teams would love to have in their starting 11, let alone on the bench. I guess its just the premise of the Saints fan, being overly negative.

I'll give you a welcome back kicking. Think we are 3-3 on games now.
-
Delfouneso and Kalinic are good prem strikers. As is Steven Fletcher from Wolves.

Spot on mate Unfortunately many of our fans are far far too impatient when they set their sights on a new whipping boy, i have even sat next to someone perfectly happy to slag a player off and completely ignore any of the good they do. Funny however that the golden boys, as you rightly say, can do no wrong. If we had replacements Lambert should have been dropped long long ago (ok he is beginning to find form now) but that would have resulted in uproar.
-
Agree, This happened to Guly before he rammed it all down everyones throats. But then we have had our fair share of players that didn't seem to fit at the club, Lallana was one of them, Hammond, Puncheon and Schneiderlin this season. Not to mention Ormarod, Svensson and Oakley.
-
As i said on a previous thread, most teams have their fair share of knobheads that like to think they are argueing back on other teams forums. When in reality they are making themselves look like a tit.
-
You make us sound like we are a one man team ?
-
Lallana is IMO the best player in the league. However...... Other teams don't have Lallana and still score goals. So...... I would be very worried if we were such a one man team. We are not, we can win without him, as much as his loss will be missed we were made early season favourites for a reason and not just because we have Adam.
-
Would that not make it a pair of pairs ?
-
Well done BHA, I laughed, good point well made and all that I'm pretty embarrassed so many of us are actually still biting after he admitted he is only coming here for a rise.
-
Well, it was to be expected in my eyes, Notts County are in good form, the main 11 have been playing alot of football and there have been injuries and illnesses. What really did we expect ?? Look at the ground we have made up over the last few weeks though and we are in a great position. Its just a shame that the midweek game at Oldham had left us all expecting more when realistically county were always going to come looking to not lose. I am happy for a point right now, dissapointed that Brighton won but hey ho, Bompey lost so thats not so bad. I am sure we will spend if necessary, and there is always the loan market within which i think we could actually sign the better calibre players on a promotion gamble. No need to worry yet, we are much closer then we have ever been, BELIEVE.

The mystery signing from Bournemouth

Perhaps we are going for Bartley as a replacement for an aeging Rahdi Jaidi ?? I would imagine however we are more likely to be looking at Marc Pugh. All IMO anyways. Still, what a ridiculous article by that silly little rag, 'Saints might perhaps be signing someone, we think it might be Bournemouth, but we don't know who.....perhaps' Well done Echo.
