I think it is good to get the under 8's in free, it solidifies a love for football and going to football at a young age, that way when they get older i am sure the young VFTT's will be asking daddy to pay for another ST and hopefully a good percentage of these under 8's will grow up into STH's. It makes long term financial sense, especially as we have no need to clamour for the upfront ST sales cash that many clubs rely on at this time of the season. You will probably see this feature become watered down as the STH's rise through us rising through the divisions etc

As i said in my post, we are not a club with 'a requirement to gain the cash sum from ST's at the start of the season' in fact they have quite a large debt and have recently even considered selling the ground in order to pay off some of the said debt. So........Um.............next ?

We should have had 20k STH's ??? - - - Lol, 20k, at a league 1 club, in a recession, when the club has no requirement to gain the cash sum from ST's at a start of a season and no more than 2/3rds of a clubs attendance should be STH's That he actually said they would be around 13k mark - - - I don't really know, some threads he said about 7.5k, some 9k and others higher, all threads he said they would be less than last year, they are higher, so he is wrong. NC has gone out to reduce the STH's - - - Well, he has failed in that respect if he wanted to, which is b*llocks, because if he wanted to he would not have offered a decent renewal price, simples. The payment plan was a big deal to EVERYONE - - - Clearly it wasn't. Please please give up now Stu, it really is f*cking boring

Depends what you are really looking for, your not going to replace Lambert, nor are you really going to match him in the respect of the way we play (which is predominantly long ball really) and his goal scoring, for player like that to come here and sit behind Lambert on the bench will just never happen unless his heart is not in it and his monthly wedge is huge. What i think AP wants is a big target man that can bully defences and the midfield can play off of, will be good enough to do a good job and will be happy to sit behind Lambert. There are a few out there that could do that job, and TBF if AP is not working on this and a CM he has mentally lost it. As for Ben Burgess, i agree he seems like the perfect signing, but if you analyze the move there must be something behind the scenes that we as fans do not see, i mean we are talking about a guy that has done a job in the CCC for a while and was promoted to the prem, in that respect you would expect him to move back to the Champ or a half decent League one team, not a team that is skint. If you see what i mean ????
