Alex will play a bench role, the same as Antonio and Waigo did, so what is your point ?? As for the squad depth it is a lot better than many in the league if you actually analyze it. And back to Chapels post, i believe we can only have 23 registered this year and TBF 25 is a heafty heafty squad when you can only play 11 with 3 subs.
-
Its the way Puncheon plays, he always seems to do relatively f*ck all, but will then rifle in a shot or deliver a telling cross or pass, he is a bit of an enigma, don't get me wrong he is not fantastic but at 23 he has a bright future and further gelling from last year and the pre season and he will look more consistant this season IMO.

It was about 2 or 3 games Alpine, if you win all of your home games (which i agree we won't but hypothetically) thats 66 points, it pretty much means it ain't too much of an issue. But please pray tell, looking from the outside in, as a technical team that plays the way we do how do we fix it ?? By the way i was pointing to post 81 mate, not that specific one.

How anyone can defend Pikies (and i say pikies as in the thieving scummy ones, i accept there are 'some' good ones) is beyond me.
-
So you have no answer to my previous post that, in all due respect we have a pretty good 'squad' compared to many in this league and arguably THE best first 11......... with respect to Wednesday that could be close to matching us (arguable)
-
And who exactly is the sort of player you are looking for here ?? Shall we sign a couple of Tyro Rep stars used to playing on crappy park pitches ??
-
Sorry but that is just complete t*ss. You take out the three best players from ANY team in this division and tell me that they can cope ?? You have to be having a laugh really. The fact that we are so dependant on Schneiderlin shows that he is playing IMO below his level, there is no way that we could replace him if we went, no way no how at this level. We do need another CM but if we don't it isn't our whole season over, we had a decent end to last season with only Wotton as back up which is respectively detrimental to the team when he plays. Puncheon can play there, Gobern could play there, apparantly that Dean Harley or whatever his name is on trial is looking pretty good, Butterfield can play there. Where else ?? On the wing ?? Harding, Dickson, Lallana, Puncheon, Ox-C can play there. Up front i think we need another player as a definate for if Lambert crocks it, i don't trust Connelly for a whole season but then Lallana can play there. This is league one FFS, half the teams really are not that great and we won't be without more than 9 first team players for the majority unless we are really unlucky. Because we ended the season very well and in all due respect have only lost two Subs and have strengthened the defence. The best two sides in the league have left and only really Wednesday have anything close to their quality, Charlton and Swindon have been weakened. Huddersfield look a tad stronger, IF Carsley and Howard perform and they do not bleed any first team players. If managed correctly we will be ok. Stop f*cking panicing.
-
If Howard and Carsley still had the legs and could still play at a decent standard then they would be snapped up by a CCC team. For me that says enough. I would rather have Hammond over Carsley and Lambert over Howard. Plus could they really play a decent amount of games per season ? I wouldn't worry so much, i honestly think Huddersfield, as good as they look will only have an average season, i have nothing to base this on as they seem to have a decent squad assembled, just have a feeling. I will let you know closer to the start of the season how i feel ours and others chances are, there is no point yet as you don't know who is going where etc

So essentially, women are the basic model and men are the upgrade ?? Makes sense really

England starting XI for Euro 2012 qualifiers

Because he plays so well there for Liverpool and IMO is easily Englands best player, probably at the moment on par with Rooney. The thing is we don't ever see any of the international managers playing him IN his best position and so this is negated, unfortunately when you play a position for a long long time it gets into your head, when i was younger and switched from CM to RM i used to drift naturally inside and then again when switched upfront, at first used to naturally drift back, it is just in your head and is hard to rid yourself of. What i think was not realised with Gerrard on the left was he was essentially tasked with a marauding role, for whatever reason Capello wanted him to do this on the left instead of actually accomodating him behind a decent striker i will never know. As for Lampard, he is ok, but again he is never a defensive midfielder, or really has that much defensive about him, Chelsea build a team around him and that is why he shines so brightly. I will agree in a similar way Liverpool do this with Gerrard but the difference being we know Gerrard can defend if he has to, problem being when he does this behind Lampard his wings are clipped and so he looks crap. The main failings for me are from the management team, they have just not got the best out of the players at all, Lampard never looks bothered for England any more, especially not in the world cup, his just couldn't give a f*ck for me when we dropped out of the WC and that will never be forgiven. Barry is never a holding midfielder either, he does ok there but when you compare him to the likes of Xabi Alonso, Van Bommel, Mascherano you realise how poor he is there. You win things by playing a system that brings the best out of your best players, not by trying to accomodate your best players into a system. -

Truth is, Barry is not a very good holding midfielder, switch him with hargreaves at it beginning to look a little better, Johnson is left footed. -
Anyone that suggests the NHS is currently a thoroughly fair and working organisation is in dream land IMO I agree that anything life threatening such as cancer, heart attacks ETC than the NHS responds very well but IMHO anything else that is not directly life threatening but can have large affects on health and general wellbeing/Living they respond very very poorly, often not even caring. I say this having been through them twice for an operation within the past 5 years and both times when walking into A&E i have self diagnosed the problem that has taken the NHS teams a year to diagnose thoroughly, both times telling me 'there is no way it is that, there is no way you felt what you felt at the time of injury'. Umm, perhaps if i saw the top consultant both times it wouldn't have taken a f*cking year for your IMO underqualified underlings to send me away and away telling me there was nothing wrong. Next year i am going private

Meh, like them both TBF, Jamie always comes across as genuine and his brand of cooking is always pretty good, no sh*tty weighing and all that sh*te just get on and go with it which is the way i cook IMO. As for Greg Wallace, he always seems the most down to earth of Masterchef and always the closest to character, Masterchef is a good, Masterchef Australia is better but Torrode is like all the old school chefs whithin which there seems to be some sort of golden club and comes across as a tit. Greg and Jamie are newish age chefs IMO. -

A handicap of 28 on stapleford means that you get 1 shot every hole and an extra shot of SI 1 through 10 does it not ?? Anyways, been playing quite well recently, my Iron play and driving (3 wood) have been very good, went out the other day with a mate that plays off of 14 and drives very well with his driver and i kept up with him, generally 30-40 yards behind with my 3 wood, at times out driving him altogether, as usual my putting is letting me down but i am getting decent scores as i am hitting the greens earlier. Then yesterday rolled around, we had our 2 monthly society (i am trying to push it to monthly) and i felt pretty confident, i got there early, and decided to do some putting practice and did reletively well for me sinking 2 puts on average lengths and even quite a few long putts which for me was pretty good. Even the 3-4 yarders which i generally c*ck up i was putting some with one hand, for me thats showing off !!!!!! Then i decided to 'bed in' my driving, big mistake, bought 100 balls and literally probably 2 went were i wanted them to go, i was devostated, even my irons were b*llocks. Then i went out and TBH my front 9 was pretty decent for me scoring 13 points, problem was i blobbed the last few holes, i spent one playing pin ball with a couple of trees and when i managed to get it out i landed in a bunker. I purposely played a draw with a 5 wood 1/2 swing around the trees about 100 yards from the pin (low trees and a couple of trunks in the way) it shaped well and i was so chuffed i pulled it off, it then rolled over the hill and into a bunker. The next hole was no better, a poor drive from the tee and then i went on to play some fat topped shots with my usually reliable irons and i think it got into my head. Back 9 score of a grand total of 3 points, 'sigh' back to the driving range to work on things.
