With Lowe's proxy partners he can command a very strong share holding in the club, from what i was led to believe PA wanted the whole shareholding and to get rid of the PLC crap (which thankfully looks like leaving us) Lowe did not want to do that and so the offer was off the table. Tommac has nothing to do with the info i was given at the time. Shockingly i have not got bloody phone records from what went on. I am not going to sit here and lie, the source could be wrong but it would be the first time. I trust him 100%. Like i said, you make your own mind up, i am not telling you to believe me, was just putting out there the info i know, and thought that other posters would appreciate it, i am not going to get into a slagging match or crap like that, if you don't believe me don't, end of the day what is done is done and all is gone now, it's not like info that is groundbreaking i am led to believe that it is reasonably common knowledge behind the scenes. I just hope now that the personal squabbling is over the club can move on and gain the investment it needs.

Were you watching whilst you were there ?? i have said time and time again that i don't rate him. 1 footed does not beat the full back very lightweight But thought he was our best player, he used his pace, tried to use his right foot, beat the full back and got the ball into the box (although normally a very under manned box) he looks like he is improving TBH hope he does as we have not got much else on the wings.

I'd keep Surman, you all were not slating him a year ago, he is having a confidence crisis, simple, not sure why, don't claim to know, TBH if Wotte has any sense he will drop him as clearly he cannot play through it, he is not highly rated for no reason. If we can keep him i will, he will come back to form, form is temporary

I trust the info i was given at the time and i believe that the offer was completely 100% materialiistic, as far as i am concerned after the deal had been turned down his reps can say what they wants, they are hardly going to say something like 'ok, we made an offer for a 2nd tier football team but got turned down by an egotistical duck hunting hockey fan' not really going to sit very well with his highly strung image is it ??

The first two goals yeah were completely gifted, some people have blamed kelvin for the first goal but he had to attempt to get through 3 defenders and vokes still got over them !! Terrible, dunno where the marking or the talking was. It was a slightly soft pen but if i was the ref i would have given it, saga left a dangling leg and the bait was taken. What really ****ed me off is the 50 yard run Folly made which was completely un tracked. Terrible, absolutely terrible, it was out of the picture but i would love to see who he ran past who decided not to follow him. :mad:

Lol, put it that way its a dreadful decision, thought he had a good game today, great in the air, big and strong and worked hard. If we are gonna bang long balls or just persist with wotton we need someone like him to do something with these balls.

Up to you to believe what you believe but i am willing to put my neck on the line to say from the info i had at the time it was 100% true. Unfortunately it was held back for one reason or another.

I liked one size, can't believe we let him go. Can't believe some of the past decisions as far as releasing players and crap aquisitions, problem is different managers have different ideals and we have had far too many new and arguebly conflicting ideas that have catastrophically all mixed in the ways that they have attempted to stamp their own personal ideals on the squad. IMO

It hacks me off all the spin from the club about turning up to support and etc when clearly the players don't give a f*ck. Someone said earlier how Wotte must be a crap motivator, i have to agree. Even the second half we never showed any real promise. His pre-match hype up must be, 'well guysh as you know you may not have a club sho jusht enjoy yourshelvesh, ryan, i know you can't play on the right but i have a revalushionary idea'

Don't worry i agree, i personally do not think he is a particularly good player but from what i saw today he looked one of our better players, he is not going to set the world alight but he swung the ball into the box and ran at the defence.

How much did he go for ?? bet it wasn't much, not as much as the other crap we wasted money on, simply the player we need at the moment, big strong and an eye for a goal, and obviously has an affection for us !! Well missed Lowe and co

Same as i shout to the sunday league players every week and applies to every level of football. If you don't fill the box it doesn't matter what you put in there, you must have someone to get on the end of it.

I was, thought FF was pretty mediocre and tried to beat the man 15 times, FFS football is a simple game, people always try to overcomlicate. Plus Beattie scored crap loads cos BO dragged the defences left to right.

TBF i didn't see much from anyone else, at all, at least he got some crosses in ?? Who else got any service into the box ?? Wotton 'i must kick this as far as i can ?' Out of form Surman ?? We had nothing !! IMO Smith has to delay because he is sooo left footed, not his fault, i bet he would love to play down his natural side, he played well, OK, he doesn't get back but going forward he looked quite good
