It's disappointing that we have come back to the start of this season so different to the end of last (but this is Saints!). I didn't watch the match but the comments on here and the post match comments from Ralph are deeply worrying . I had hoped that we would have just repeated the end of last season preparation, how our players could get, to quote Ralph, be unfit after only 3 weeks away seems to me not understandable. People say that we only had one pre=season friendly but I seem to recall that we only played one against Bristol City before the restart. Hope Ralph can sort this out quickly because the players that people are criticising now after 2 games are the same ones that were praised 2 months ago.

Slower this morning so far, had my first 504 for 10 days. Speeded up again now, hopefully it was a temporary blip.

Being a long suffering Saints fan I can't see us starting the season like we finished the last. 2 - 1 loss to Palace

Great goal from Mo for Norway against Northern Ireland tonight and generally playing well. Norway 3 - 1 up at half time.
-
A bit more hesitant at the moment but no 502s or 504s yet.
-
Mostly unusable today, hope it can be fixed or at least improved. Had a look at the Ugly Inside forum and looks OK, seems to be some on there that used to be on Saintsweb and current Saintsweb members.

Really bad again this morning, seems to be fine for some hours and then suddenly changes to being slow or 502 and 504 warnings. Assuming the Cloudfront name that comes up with the 504 are the same then maybe some techies can make sense of the link below: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/troubleshooting-response-errors.html

Has been flying all morning until just now. Seems to have been a temporary blip this time, back up to speed for now anyway.

Quite a well balanced season. January looks tricky though, Liverpool and Arsenal at home and Leeds and Leicester away.

My understanding from Ralphs last post match interview was that they had 2 weeks off and then they would be back for the 4.5 weeks before the first game during the weekend of September 12th. I presume that we will replicate what we did last time on the build up to the restart as it worked so well before. Did we have a behind closed door friendly(s)? I seem to remember that Ralph mentioned at some point before the restart that he had contacted people in the Bundesliga and analysed what had worked or not for the teams in that league for their restart, as they were a month ahead ours.

Danny won BBC Surprise Player of the Season with 52% of the vote.

The schedule is showing 6 Sky Sports channels showing PL and 2 more on BT Sports 1 and 2, the 2 others maybe on the red button?

IMO Adams should be started with Ings for the rest of the season. So far I feel that Adams has had bad luck rather than poor technique and game play, there is a goal scorer in there somewhere even in the PL. Long is a known quantity and with a 1 year contract extension already in place there is no need to 'trial' him. I would also use KWP and Romeo more in the starting line up to look at their capabilities in various games with both top six and easier (on paper) opposition. I didn't realise until I checked that we only made 2 substitutions v Watford, we seemed to have been one of the fitter teams since the resumption.
-
I agree Gingeletiss, a few times during the Watford game when breaking Long looked like he was running through treacle and was easily snuffed out by the covering defender. I think that Adams should start the next 6 games to assess one way or the other if he can make the grade in the PL.

Cricket season postponed until AT LEAST 1st July.

If you didn't know that it was a woman it sounds like an excited 12 year old boy commentating.

7 points. Win 2, draw 1 and lose 2, don't know in which ones though.

Wolves picking up Luke Matheson from Rochdale for £1m to me looks like good business. Whenever I've seen him play on TV I've been impressed with the 17 yo. One for the near future.

Because of the delay by BT announcing the Wednesday game to televise I suspect they are looking at shifting Liverpool v Shrewsbury to the Wednesday slot but it must be announced in the next few hours. Probably discussing (arguing) with Liverpool as it reduces their precious break by another day!
-
I think that Moyes named Cash at their news conference today when pushed by reporters as a transfer target.
-
All of the Tuesday replays have been confirmed except the Liverpool v Shrewsbury match where both their websites say DATE and time to be confirmed. I guess that BT are contemplating moving it to the Wednesday to televise.

According to Man Utd website (see link below) so far this season we have given them the largest away allocation of any of their away league games, even though they have played at larger stadiums, we do seem to agree to a large away following. Also interestingly shows the number of applications and which % went to season ticket holders and other categories. https://www.manutd.com/en/tickets-and-hospitality/match-tickets/away-games/domestic-away-games

Seems that Armstrong had to come off because of a hip problem not hamstring, according to Ralph. Having a scan tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's not too serious. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/18187403.ralph-hasenhuttl-var-not-using-joke/
