He's not a 'good guy'. He's always been a kn0b, stemming back to his non-league days. Don't question that for £4m it was low risk and we got enough out of him for that though. Don't think that bit is true, judging by what was said at the event that some fans were invited to last night. Think it was Ralph but may have been one of the board members that said we'd had interest in Redmond and Hojbjerg.

It's likely to take more than one transfer window to fully clear out all the dead wood we've accumulated over the years and get a squad that Ralph is happy with. Priority to get off the books should be Austin, Forster, Hoedt, Carillo, Clasie and Gallagher who all clearly have no future at all. That should at least free up a fair chunk of wages for us to be in a better negotiating position when trying to buy.

With Valery and Vestergaard sounding unlikely to make it, I'd go with: Gunn Ramsey Bednarek Yoshi Bertrand Hoj Romeu Lemina Redmond Armstrong Long Save JWP and Ings for Bournemouth. Lemina and Armstrong did enough 2nd half on Saturday to warrant a start here.
