  1. It's something that, if we go up, the players have to get over. We'll be on the TV even more in the top league and the attention is there even more. Instead of going to parties and concerts this week, maybe the players should have a quiet week in to fully focus on the game.
  2. Sounds bizarre but that result will hopefully wake the players up to realise that we're nowhere near over the line yet. Shambolic defending and no imputes to go forward at all. Hopefully Lambert and Tadanari are back for the derby. At least that will get rid of the gloating on here of us hammering the skates 5-0 etc, even if they did get pummeled today. Good ol' Saints, never doing it easy.
  3. It's the natural Saints pessimism. Don't worry, we all have it.
  4. NO. We'll get absolutely bollocked by everyone in football for it. It's looking likely at this stage that Coventry will have something to play for. Brighton's forum would blow up with the amount of people wetting themselves over it.
  5. Here we go again....
  6. Them and West Ham I think.
  7. Over a prolonged period, it'd be Lambert I think, even though we did okay whilst he was suspended back in January. Although his end product is questionable, Lallana creates things so is important but Fox is a good call with his set-pieces.
  8. Well that's a very old programme so no.
  9. What's the point in football if you don't want to play at the highest level?
  10. Not really a marker for comparison though is it? A pre-season tournament game and a Europa League game against Manchester United...! Would love to host them again for this summers tournament. Also, who was the guy who scored the great free-kick against us in the ML Cup?
  11. Before the game on the 7th as they get off their bubble coaches: "Welcome to your worst nightmare".
  12. Don't wet your knickers just yet.
  13. My murderer will be singing "Who the f*ck is laughing now?".
  14. West Ham away? Cardiff at home? Hull at home? Blackpool at home?
  15. He did the important things right, though ie blocks, tackles. Sharp will start I reckon.
  16. Everything and everyone seemed to go wrong at once. Lallana was out of form because of just coming back from injury, and it took several games to recover from Chappers going down in the first 10 minutes at Brizzle. Defensive instability affected the side too, particularly at CB. Even a breath of fresh air helped us get back to form really, as Puncheon, Lee and Sharp coming back/in coincided with injury returns and everyone back to their best. Focus on the now.
  17. Gregg Wylde, released today, linked with us and Blackpool. Supposedly having talks tomorrow.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me. I've thought it several times this season and been proved wrong, however.
  19. Hammond also did well when he came on, I thought. An off day for Cork, but thankfully it didn't matter in the end.
  20. Phew. That's been bugging me for weeks.
  21. Reading away in '08 definitely, as well as Liverpool away in 02/03(?) just for the fact that we won on Merseyside!
