Your own 'you know nothing about football' posts

I remember saying Adkins was tactically inept after the Walsall 1-0 defeat -
Pompey in the play-offs? LOL.
-
Hammond has been better full stop since Adkins came in. Guly in the first half yesterday was a joy to watch.
-
He blames other influences like the referee or his lack of finances, the first often, EVERY time they lose. It's pathetic. They had the same discipline problem last season but of course that's all down to the refs who have some agenda against Pompey players. Lawrence deserved to be sent off yesterday, both stupid bookings.
-
A bit off the pace but Miller and Derbyshire were such handfuls. Don't really get people calling him shocking, Jose just as fault for goals as Jos, straight through the defence. Fox was very poor, minus the cross for Lambert's 3rd - hopefully Harding is back for B'ham. Cork at RB didn't really work so would like to see him back in CM next week, but I know that the changes were enforced.
-
Probably because we have nobody called 'Connelly' playing for us, it's 'Connolly' Shorter odds the real goal machine 'Connolly' probably

Ding Ding Ding. What about.... 01 Davis 02 Harding 03 Thomas 15 Lancashire (Rasiak 90+2) 23 James 10 Wotton (Gobern 81) 19 Schneiderlin 35 Mellis 07 Lambert 17 Paterson (Saganowski 81) 20 Lallana ? The bottom 3 at the time were: 22 Norwich 23 Brighton 24 Southampton. How times change.

Niemi, Telfer, Lundekvam, Davenport, Higginbotham, Nilsson (Jones 64), Prutton, Oakley (Jakobsson 73), Delap, Anders Svensson, Crouch.

I know you're just being a WUM but who are the 16 teams who'll finish above us then?
-
It'll be Hooiveld I should imagine. Not that I have a problem with Martin but we need someone who is comfortable on the left side of CB.
-
He's still around? Blimey, I thought he was a dinosaur when with us! Not being kept on by the cheats says it all, no thanks.
-
The look on his face when he found out would have been f*cking hilarious. I do want rid of him, mind.

Back. Fairly comfortable until we started to overplay it. Short goal kicks EVERY time had us under pressure but to be fair to Bart, he made a good save at his near post from Clarke to make it 2-2. Lallana was great, probably MOTM. Complete justice we got the 3rd goal as we had a blatant penalty turned down on a trip on Lallana with about 2/3 minutes to go when the awful ref was right by the incident. Plus the fact Swindon's attacker Kerrouche(?) should have been sent off right on half time. He got one booking for throwing the ball away(which the ref was very anal over) and he then consequently got angry about it and proceeded to hack down Cork and the refs solution was to blow for HT. Handbags from the 2 benches followed. Di Canio has always been a knob but he demonstrated it further tonight. Not just for the incident with Clarke either, but his petty throwing of his arms and moaning on the touchline - once confronted by Adkins. We made it more difficult than needed to at times but thankfully got the deserved 3rd goal from the very sharp and surprisingly quick Lambert. Bring on Preston/Charlton.

Will the Birmingham Home Game now be on Sunday 18th Sept?
Saint_lambden replied to Ooooo Mariaaan's topic in The Saints
@ReadingFC Reading FC Official Home fixture against Birmingham is moved back 24 hours due to City's Europa League commitments. Now scheduled for Sun 6th Nov, kick off 3pm. Not on TV that one, I know. -
Been told on Twitter we're one of a number of clubs after him.
-
Surprise surprise, a potential signing is already not good enough for some people. And those who think we'd have a hope in hell of signing Scott Dann need their head looking at. Adkins would have scouted him and wouldn't even think about bringing him in if he wasn't up to the standard of playing alongside Fonte week in, week out.
-
And what? He isn't Chris from Soccer AM.
-
Davis, Seaborne, Cork and Lambert all had very good games.

Saints V Millwall 1- 0 Post match chat!
Saint_lambden replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Would give Davis an 8 at least for a couple of cracking saves. Seaborne was generally decent, won most things in the air. Lambert was brilliant-so sharp. -
My woeful attempt: (To the tune of- "he's fat, he's round, he bounces on the ground...") "He's french, he's class, he picks out every pass...Schneiderlin...Schneiderlin! "
-
at the whole video but he doesn't even attempt to pronounce Lallana at 3.16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9r9htRngnQ Most obvious inbred alive.

The consensus among Football fans that they have good support is such a myth. One d*ck with a bell and them clapping along with it is not an atmosphere. They couldn't sell out a under 20,000 seater stadium in the Premier League on a lot of occasions in their last season there which says it all.
-
Put it this way - I didn't expect us to start THIS well. We haven't played who I expect to be in the top 2/3 yet but I think we can clearly compete with teams hoping for the play-offs like Ipswich.

I think he said on SSN that he didn't want to sell Chamberlain but price was high and Cortese decided to let him go.
