A good performance really, in 2nd gear too. Palace were fairly content with trying for a point in the first half but we had to hold strong to keep them out for a bit at the start of the 2nd 45 mins. A little perspective please. Yes, Guly was b0llocks ad bottled the 'header' but Fonte(?) shouldn't have let Thorne have the header back across in the first place. The beauty of Guly is that he'll probably go score in the next game and everyone will scratch their heads in confusion. Pompey were sh!t, and we'll p!iss all over them at St Mary's. They have no money to buy someone who actually knows what it's like to score a goal to replace that donkey Kitson and we're miles ahead of them at the top. Lallana was quality, as was Cork and Hooiveld. Lambert - 1 chance, 1 goal. Not sure why Fox came off, surely a knock?! Onto Palace, but 2 points dropped.
