  1. You f/cking look like a wotsit!!
  2. Henri Lansbury and Tom Cleverley who are on loan at Watford from Arsenal and M.Utd are two young, goalscoring midfielders who like to get forward. The later has got 11 goals this season and Lansbury has got 5. Maybe a loan to buy deal for either?
  3. In most cases they are not great but look at the examples of players like Darren Ambrose, released last season and probably in the top 5 championship players of the season this year. And for us look at Harding and Jaidi, released by championship teams Ipswich and Birmingham(champ in 08/09) last season and they have been great for us. At the start of July there are some great players available on a free.
  4. Are you joking? Do you actually go to games other than the one today? Barnard works his socks off every game and tries to hold the ball up and is quite often fouled. How the heck has he not done it for us? 2 goals against champions Norwich, the same against Walsall and 4 other very important goals!
  5. By listening to the post-match interview today, Pardew has hinted at Connolly staying next year. I think he deserves a one-year extension because he's got quite a few goals and has that extra technical class on the ball. Today was a big game for James, Semi and Waigo as well and only the later really impressed according to Solent. I can see Pardew trying to get a loan striker in similar to Lambert in the window and we may have seen Antonio for the last time (or will vs Southend).
  6. Pardew's experimenting. But if we lose this I bet he won't make so many changes to our normal first X1 next week v Southend or he'll risk the home crowd being a bit annoyed. If there's a big crowd they will wan't to see us beat Southend convincing by 2,3,4 goals and not pay good money to have Martin at CB- I'm hoping Jaidi comes back into the side next week although Fonte sounds like he's having a nightmare today. COYR
  7. Keep: Perry as the emergency back-up/coach role , Connolly for 1 more year (pay as you play deal) , both Waigo and Antonio on 2 and 3 year deals respectively, Bart. Release: The rest of them- thanks but no thanks.
  8. Theo got cheered at the last under 21 game at St Mary's a couple of years ago. and i'm pretty sure he was playing for Arsenal at the time.
  9. Pardew must like him- he was prefering Hayden to Mascherano at W.Ham in 06/07. Plenty of experience but not really the type of midfielder we're looking for and £1 million would put huge pressure on him to do well especially as he's currently a skate.
  10. He would still be fantastic in League 1 when he gets his match fitness back- a good pre-season if we got him in early would soon be back to his best.
  11. Sparv according to the tinternet signed for Gronigen in January so I don't think it's likely, one to bid for the future if..sorry when! we get to the championship. Did great in the Under 21 championship last year, Still think we should go for Danns but he got sent off tonight for a stupid headbutt...
  12. And Angel Rangel whilst we're at it? :smt043
  13. At fault? And what opportunity since the start of the season has Pardew had to play him, I know Wotton is terrible but until Saturday we have had something to play for in every game. Gillett played a few games when he was on loan at Donny in October/November but I can't see him coming in for the last 2 games or next season- he will probably leave with many other fringe/useless players like Molyneux, Pulis and all the other Lowe garbage. Right-Back's we could look at: Nathaniel Clyne- Crystal Palace: Young player who's quick and Palace need the money- maybe a cheeky double offer for him and Danns? Frank Simek- Sheffield Wednesday : American who's experienced but only 6 games under his belt this season. Adrian Mariappa- Watford: 23 year-old who has captained his team earlier this season and can play centre-back as well as right-back although CB is his natural position. Sam Hutchinson- Chelsea: Can also play centre-back but prefered at RB. Came on against Stoke yesterday to set-up Frank Lampard to put Chelsea 5-0 up. Kyle Walker- Spurs: Played regularly for Sheffield United when on loan there until January when he was called back as cover by Spurs. Played solidly in a 2-0 win over Pompey. Moritz Volz: As mentioned before, still unattached and has prem experience at Fulham- still only 27 so a very good age to give him a 2 year deal. Any other suggestions?
  14. TBH I don't think he would break into Reading's first 11 yet as they have a right winger in form ATM in Jimmy Kebe. I'm sure by him just listening to the crowd yesterday chanting "Pardew Pardew sign him up!" he would have felt even more at home here. Give him a good contract- say 3/4 year deal and everyone will be happy I would offer Waigo a deal as well but I'm sure his wage demands will be a bit higher than Antonio's and could we guarentee him first-team football?
  15. That Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on loan at Doncaster has scored quite a few since moving there on loan from Arsenal, can play in front of the back 4 and in CM but does well going forward. According to his Wiki page he can also play up-front if needs be. At 6ft 2 and only 19 he looks promising.. A cheeky bid or loan for the season?
  16. Well I suppose the FlyBe branding on the seats will have to go and they will no doubt be solving the beer situation. I have heard the food supplier inside the stadium are not having their contract renewed so much of the food may change next season :smt016
  17. He scored at the weekend for Anderlecht to win the League for them... Not for me though=;
  18. +1 Nobody would ever be as bad as that guy for the Leeds game. The ball just wasn't gonna go in last night, if we we're still there now it would still be 0-0. One of those nights- just the wrong time to have it
  19. Yeovil:"OOOOOOOOOOOOO RRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....you wanna starrrrt do ya? Pardew: "what country are these lot from Deano?"
  20. Well the stats tell their own story- we deserve promotion but that -10 in the end will probably cost us a play-off place (not that I haven't given up hope yet- we can still do it!). But like Leroy Rosenior said on the FL show last night, we have to get over that and just win our last few games, that's all we can do. We must be doing something right as they always say, a team that doesn't necessarily play that well (yesterday) and still win are a good side. Tuesday is massive, and I don't expect Oldham to come and not bother as they aren't safe yet and they will have one eye on how Tranmere are doing in the other game v Brentford. COYR
  21. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/15042010/63/pardew-quiet-celtic-link.html
  22. Messi takes on Harding down the wing then picks out a pass to Ibrahimovic who is tackled by Jaidi..... ........anyone else finding this unlikely?
  23. Hopefully it's just administration.... HOPEFULLY...
  24. Pardews interview? Was there one and what did he say?
  25. Not as bad as THE SUN today giving Davis a 6/10 !!!!!! Did they not see his 3 saves that kept us in it?!
