The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

Rocket Swanie on 606 reckons that Freddy Adu could be signed by the end of the month.. I know he's not always got it right but there is clearly interest as it came up in many countries press a few days after he first posted the news. A 2 year loan deal sounds good with the possibility of getting him on a free after that http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A69312206 -
Just emailed David Luker asking why adults benefit in some cases but Young Adults/Under 16's don't. I believe his email is: dluker@saintsfc.co.uk
-
Correct- they have gone up... Why do adults have such a price drop and Students and Teens not have any? In fact, the price has gone UP! around £50 in some cases.
-
I am the only one not too happy they have gone up for most age ranges?
-
Liking that :smt038

Why couldn't we get Austin? He's local and Swindon aren't exactly loaded. Despite the fact they had a great season this time around, we have a better chance of promotion and that would bring us up to having 3/4 quality strikers that every team needs. -

Morrisson- the striker for Milwall has been brilliant. If Connolly doesn't stay or we get short of strikers in January I wouldn't mind either him or Austin (despite that miss). -
Just with the "Saints Web" ^ bit now Anything need changing? :-k

Mine's below- kind criticism please - only a rushed attempt.

Good old Rocket Swanie is at it again on 606. He says we are on the verge on signing FREDDY ADU. IMO- absolute B6llocks but i'd be happy to be proven wrong: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A68914795 -

-People who put football players in their name on Facebook -People who don't pick up their f*cking dog **** and then people like me go and step in it and stink of **** all day -People who only go to football to moan about everything -The miserable bastard who sat in the Northam stand during the first 15 minutes of the Leeds game and complained that my knees were digging into his back- IT'S THE NORTHAM FFS! - STAND UP. -Women who go to football with their fellas in the Northam but just sit down most of the game because they are un-interested or their legs hurt- just don't take them if they aren't bothered. -That useless d!ck head Stuart Dennis jumping up and down before the game trying to get the crowd going- spast!c. -Being too hot to get to sleep at night -The tools that shout "PORK!" in the Northam EVERY ******* GAME for no reason. -The stewardds outside the ground who wait for you to walk past them into the turnstiles with a bag on your back and THEN decide to check your bag- knowing that the away fans are miles away from where I stand and I have a bottle with NO lid in my hand. -People that go to Saints games and haven't got a clue who any of the players are or who we are playing. -The stewards in the Northam who come up every 5 minutes asking people to sit down- they get half way up before Saints attack or something happens and everybody is stood again- WASTE OF TIME. -People who's breath stink and then they breath right in your face. -ITV's **** coverage and the fact they are now bringing in that miserable (because he didn't land his One Show colleague ) brummy Chiles. __________________________________DONE____________________________________

Well, at the start of this season just gone, who thought Blackpool would be a top 6 side come May?:smt020 Look at the Championship now, only a about 6/7 clubs tops could afford to pay Beatties type of wages over a few years- the rest are skint. -
So what would under 16/student prices be or would they all be the same?

Can we move on from Beattie please? :smt062 He will most likely move to a lower Premier League team (one of the promoted ones?) or a top 6 Championship team with money to pay his wages- he can still do a job at that level IMO. Joe Garner (striker) has been in and out of the team at N'Forest- what about him? He would score goals at this level. -

Reading fans say he can't hack it in the Championship anymore and his fitness is poor. He's what we're looking for but im not so sure. -

Well then, another chance to get the better of this lot like we did twice the season before last. The atmosphere from us will have to be good- because their fans are terrible. On the price issue- would have been nice to see all kids free (under 16's or 18's) and maybe maximum £10 for adults. I think we'll beat them with a strong squad together. -

Exactly- the only good thing Carter has ever done was score a screamer against Arsenal. -

McSheffery would still do a job at League 1 level and he's a good age at 27. Would add an extra option for both the striker and left wing roles. :finga: As for Quedrue, I think he can play at either Left-Back or Centre-Back which are areas we are fine in ATM.
