The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
Saint_lambden replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Yes some Championship clubs may be impressed by him but TBH I think he's not totally ready for championship football every week- League 1 yes. I don't blame him for not wanting to talk about contracts- he is focused on the next 6 games and no more. -

Antonio said after Charlton that he's happy here as 18 months ago he was in non-league football and he is delighted to be playing for "a big club like Southampton". He will sign on small wages and another great spot from Pardew -
Exactly. Brizzol on Tuesday is our hardest game left, win that then we should win the others. One game at a time though, it's win or bust on tuesday now

A pompey fan on 606 decided it was a good idea to make a joke about it saying that: " I wonder if Shirley towers would be a nice place to relocate?"

2-1 home win again.. Barnard + Fonte header from corner MUST win for us COYR

Hopefully Oldham can get at least a point at Huddersfield tonight, however unlikely that is. I can only see Hudersfield dropping points against Milwall (losing) and possibly draws against Colchester + Brentford, the others you would say they should win. Then again our next two games are our toughest left, Charlton (H) + Brizzol Rovers (A). 6 points there and you never know.

Oh my Darlingtons ground/crowd is embarrassing. Why on earth did their chairman think that building a 25,000 seater stadium was a good idea?

Saints V Orient Post Match Reaction Thread

Poor display but a win is a win. If we play like that on Saturday, Charlton will turn us over. Scowcroft for them caused so many problems and I'm a bit worried about how Seaborne will cope in the next two games as he was shaky today. Lallana was quality, a rare bright spark in the team. Barnard must have been gutted to come off, even when he doesn't have chances he runs his socks off. I would have taken Puncheon off myself. Schneiderlin was another who disappointed, he is probably not fully fit yet or was it the haircut?! 3 points on Saturday is massive. COYR -
Who won't be at Saints next season?

I heard Schneiderlin got chucked out of a club in Southampton after the Wembley win last Sunday, they all went there after the win, Club Rosso I think  -

Not for me, I know he had some good times here but dropping down two divisions wouldn't be a great step in his career would it? I know there are some good former players out there, but there are some even better players that haven't played for us! Danns or Bailey would be brilliant -

RB- Moritz Volz is without a club ATM Another CM- Gotta be Danns if Palace go down Right Wing- Sign Antonio + Waigo Then sort out who's staying/leaving out of the fringe players or those out of contract: Connolly: Keep for 1 more season Jaidi: Same Perry: Coaching role? Murty: let him go Semi: Short deal? 1 year Thomas: Tricky one........maybe 1 more year but slash his wages by half Wotton: BYE! Holmes: Don't think he will ever be a regular here, time to move on Mcglaggon: Same as above, shame as he was a bright spark last season If Connolly doesn't stay then a striker on loan for 6 months from the prem/championship. -
Pardew in SaintsWeb membership shocker!

Swindon?!
-
Lee Hendrie on the bench for them- completely forgot he played football.
-
A quick question: If the game finishes as a draw after 90 minutes will extra time be played or will the cup be decided on penalties straight away like previous rounds?
-
-------------------------------------Davis--------------------------------------------- --James------------------------Fonte----------Jaidi-----------------------Harding---- --Antonio------------------Hammond--------Schneiderlin--------------Lallana--------- ---------------------------Waigo--------------Lambert------------------------------ Subs: Bart, Perry , Oxo-cube, Mills/Holmes, Connolly. 3-1 win

Yes our tickets are the same, all the tickets have the same price printed on them. We ordered one adult + a child one , the second has a slip missing.
-
Who saw that coming at half time?!!!
-
How long left to add to the scoreline?
-
brilliant. End of.

The one's that go together in a group of about 5, constantly swear, don't know half the words to the songs because they never go to games and who then walk out the ground acting as if they are 'ard?
-
If we are within 10 points with 10 games left then why not? We are in-form especially at home where we have the majority of games left and Huddersfield, Swindon and Colchester have a all hit a bumpy patch in the last 3/4 games. It's unlikely but not impossible

Always remember "One Vision" being played during the pitch invasion vs Sheff United Will remind me of happy times and Wembley will be one of those so that has to be played instead of that Cringe-worthy remix.

Saints 1-0 Leeds Utd - Post Match Reaction
Saint_lambden replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Can I just ask something regarding the Gradel/Harding incident: A Leeds fan on 606 has said that Gradel reacted the way he was becuase: "Harding should have been red carded for the attempt to break Gradel's leg" All I saw was the thump Gradel gave him, so did anyone else see this supposed "Leg break tackle" or is it just bU||shat?
