Absoloutly unbelievable display from the Ref. How Gradel was not sent off for what can only be described as an assault on Harding is beyond me. Then Hammond was booked for basically nothing on 80 mins- how can those two incidents have the same punishment?!!! Thank god he didn't cost us today because in the first half he lost all control of the game.

Why forget them? Yes we are far behind ATM but if we win tomorrow and the 2 games in hand like mentioned above we won't be too far behind Huddersfield. If we carry on the top 2 form then the play-offs are still possible. We may as well still have something to aim for this season, the play-offs are a possibility so we should go for it. I know we have progressed a lot and mid-table would be okay seeing as we have recovered from rock bottom in June but at least if we try for them we can say if we finish 7th-10th that we gave it a good go.

Not sure what game you were watching in the first half, that was when Puncheon was most dangerous, the baldie was better second half. Our attacking four- Lallana , Punch , Lambert and Barnard caused their defence so many problems- they gave us space and we punished them

If we're talking about the number 28 then yes- he was awful. Couldn't deal with Lambert and the Ref missed him holding Barnard's and mostly Lambert's shirts so many times during the game. One game he will want to forget I bet

Steve Claridge has to be the worst pundit ever. He hasn't got a clue what he's on about the skate tw8t.

Bart is a great back-up to have and never seems bothered to be on the bench. I think : Davis , Fonte , Harding , Hammond , Schneiderlin , Lallana and Lambert ^ have all got to play when fit. We have one of the best squads in the league but Pardew has to make sure the best team play every game and we need to find our best 11 - today was probably it. Our quality squad is gonna be vital if we are gonna push on this season.

He was devastated in the interview after, felt sorry for him as he was great today- deserved a goal.

The score line flattered pompey TBH. We didn't deserve to lose 4-1 , I can't fault the effort from the players- pretty much everyone gave 100 % . If we had got a goal in the firs-half it could have been all different but that shows why it was League 1 v Prem - they were much more clinical then us. Brilliant atmosphere- surely the best ever at St'Marys. Our slow defence couldn't deal with their counter- everything cam down the left with Belhadj and Owusou- Abeyi , who's pace was deadly. My saints MOTM: Lallana. At least we went for it and didn't sit back. Heads up.

Judge Pardew at the end of the month, after the two cup games, two tricky away ties and a home game v Walsall. If we perform well in the cup games and get 7 points in the 3 league games I will be happy. Getting a result at Norwich will be very hard but not unachievable. Get behind the team, fed up with the negativity.

Good- Schneiderlin second half , Seaborne , Waigo when he came on and Fonte was pretty solid as well. Bad- Wotton (When's Hammond back?) , Mills (harding back in next week please). At the end of the day- not a good game at all but a win which is all that matters. Most of the players will benefit from no game midweek- especially Lambert who's look knackered for ages.

Yeah Dan Harding in midfield- what next?..... Lambert in goal?
