Or Roger in made up "facts" in OP shocker
-
You remind me of the bloke down the pub who spouts off 'facts' when really it is just idle here-say.
-
I was in hospitality and the west ham fans almost unanimously agreed that we played all the football - not so sure myself. Thought we were a bit powderpuff to be honest and such a soft touch at the back. This season is already reminding me of how depressing football can be when your team is simply not good enough.

Not at all a sweeping generalisation
-
The OP seems to be developing a habit for starting them.

Lambert ain't England class - despite the fact that it isn't a high standard ATM

I am not embarrassed

Did we spend our transfer money wisely? We're they Adkins choices?

"We're they Adkins choices?" This question does not make any sense -
Try harder - it ain't difficult
-
I doubt it - I haven't second guessed any of his substitutions yet. Unlike Adkins, I am not a professional football coach/manager and therefore he would consider my opinion worthless (just like 99.9% of all the others on here).
-
It should have stood if it was disallowed for a foul on the keeper, but since it was actually disallowed for Lambert using the defender to climb for the header, it was allegedly a correct decision. You could argue that Lambert did nothing wrong, but it did look like he had both arms on the defenders shoulders, so no surprise the ref interpreted it that way.
-
Why the aggression? It is actually a valid subject for debate IMHO.
-
Yeah I am positive Cortese is on the blower to Adkins during the match telling him what subs to make. It is the only explanation......
-
Go on then - tell us how any of the subs resulted in us going 2-1 down. Start with Richardson......

 quality pigeon French

I give up. You clearly are not listening.

It is easy with hindsight to see that most people's speculation about our defensive frailties have been proven to be correct. However, we may have found that we could defend adequately but not score goals. It is a moot point - I was merely offering a suggestion to Alpine as to what the miracle might be: like somebody holding the purse strings realising that the £10m you speak of would have been better spent elsewhere.
-
I think that, if anything, five months of genuine experience of playing at this level will have focused the minds of those holding the purse strings on what we need to throw money at. In the Summer, it was more speculative guesswork perhaps.
-
Since we allegedly were in for a defender or two (in addition to Buttner) I would love to know what sort of money we were bidding. You'd like to think it would be still available, unless that is what the loan is for.
-
Have we? Are you sure about that?
-
The miracle will be if we find we have the financial muscle to make any significant signings. I cannot help thinking we have spent the money earmarked for this season already. Seems staggering to me that £30m was not enough to make us a solid unit..... been away from the EPL too long obviously.
