My Grandad used to go down to the military hospital in Netley during the war and the Americans there used to give him sweets and eggs and things. (real eggs, which were rationed). He also used to go fishing off the pier with German PoW's who were kept there. Once he was fishing and he said one of the seaplanes was going along Southampton water and they threw a tin of sardines at him haha.

This is a cracking thread, I love Southampton and the council and all those bigwigs need to pull their finger out and do the city some justice.

Alright well I went yesterday and he had a bad game. Like you, I am a season ticket holder and I have been to many away games so I've seen James play a lot this season. It's the way you said "Same old saints fans, defeat and automatically there has to be a scapegoat.". What's the point in an analysis of a game if you miss out parts about a player having a bad game as to just avoid being negative. No-one is making a scapegoat. Yesterday James had a bad game. I'm not judging him, he just had a bad game. I've seen him have good games this season, I've seen him play well, but unfortunately yesterday he was a liability.

Has it been noted yet that RATM are signed to Epic, a subsidiary of Sony, who the XFactor lad is signed to? Still, I bought my copy, just because I plain hate XFactor.

And we definitely need a right back... I don't rate James at all. With Murty injured we started with Thomas as right back on Saturday and he kept getting sucked into the centre, meaning Waigo had to come back deep and cover. Right back should be a priority imo.

I thought Beckford would be a great signing before I went up to Leeds on Saturday. His attitude was a disgrace, he sulked around the pitch and when he got taken off after a lacklustre performance his behaviour of shrugging away Grayson and storming down the tunnel proved up his obvious attitude problem. Sod him. Simeon Jackson would be a much better signing, if we could pull it off.

Course KD shouldn't just walk back into the first eleven. It's great news he is fit again but Bart has done well and deserves to keep his spot for a while.

Positive points: Leeds are top of the League and haven't lost at Elland Road since January, we went there and didn't embarrass ourselves at all. Our support was once again terrific. Negative points: James really disappointed. The majority of his passing went horrifically astray and he hardly looked interested when he had to get stuck into a tackle. Jaidi is great in the air and in his tackling, but his distribution was very bad. Wayne Thomas at right back kept getting sucked towards the centre and early on Waigo was doing a lot of covering for him (he did well, I might add). I didn't find Elland Road very nice at all.

He seems like a proper sound bloke as well. Definitely bought stability (and more) to Fulham and I rate him as a manager. Agree with Thedelldays. 7th last Season and 9th currently, and you don't often get teams beating Man Utd 3-0, no matter how weakened they are through injury.
