  1. Even better
  2. Last I heard it was just over 27,000.
  3. Can't say I've ever been in the situation to answer that I'm afraid.
  4. That would indeed be an absolute disaster, a nightmare, and a load of sh!t.
  5. I can fully see us moving into a 100,000 all seater stadium within the next 50 years when we are fully established as one of the best clubs in the world. Roll on the good times.
  6. My Dad went to every West Ham home game when he was about 16 in the early 80's and some of the things he saw outside the ground involving the ICF makes the Saints v Pompey stuff look like a scuffle in a school playground.
  7. Number nine is Paddy McGuinness
  8. Yeah I heard the last few seconds of that report, what's all that about then?!
  9. Yeaaah spot on. Something like that will do just fine.
  10. It wasn't even football violence because there was next to no fighting. The only injury I saw was my mate being hit by a rock, and another lad I know getting a police truncheon across the knee. I felt the police were very heavy handed that day and didn't do all that well in keeping tensions down to be honest. I see DSM wrote "Plenty of people were extremely frightened when they saw a mass of people rushing at them and screaming". When it was all kicking off there was plenty of shirters and scarfers, kids, women, families, all having a look and following it around Northam. When it moved to the next road a long, there was a mass of 'normal supporters' there laughing and watching. I saw no fear in these people. One bloke was there giving a running commentary to his kid, who must have been about 11. "There's the older heads" "There's the youth, they are going to go round and try and get them from over there" etc. Most people taking part weren't what you'd consider hooligans.
  11. Number 3 is Paul Wotton.
  12. I don't want to be buried in case I'm not dead and I wake up. I don't want to be cremated in case I wake up in the box, on fire. I guess I'll just have to build a grand mausoleum and have my body on public display forever, like Lenin.
  13. Nineteen..
  14. My mum accidentally left some lunch in one of our bags going through American customs. Needless to say the Americans made a massive deal of it, they thought we were smuggling banana's in/out the country. So much fuss for one banana.
  15. Marian Pahars was my favourite player growing up (behind Le Tiss of course). I met him round a friend's house, my friend's Dad was selling him a car. Absolute legend, I was star struck (I was only about 8...). Nice bloke from what I can remember, took time out from car buying to have a chat and a photo. LEGEND.
  16. That'd work, and has my vote.
  17. Don't be ridiculous FFS. It wouldn't fit on the shirt.
  18. I know Chester were without a League for being kicked out, but they were wound up for owing around £26,000. Pompey owe tens of millions of pounds, and they are being treated like royalty compared to poor old Chester.
  19. Chester have been wound up owing around £26,000... Pompey owe how much???
