A win would be a nice birthday present Coming off the back of the 5-1 we SHOULD win but we are Southampton and for that reason I couldn't guess a scoreline or a result. I'd like to us play the same starting 11, fitness permitting, as they really did look like a near-finished article Saturday.

Reduced odds, it's still valid, they'll just knock off some of the winnings. Nice one anyway, won my accy yesterday too.

I think your point is that continuity is the key. Stick with the same manager and generally you will reap the rewards. Unbeaten in 2010 says a lot when you compare it to the likes of chop-and-change QPR.

I hope he didn't think we were booing him - Far from it!

YEAH, FFS, PARDEW OUT. Get a grip. Firstly, how is it even Pardew's fault that one of our players committed a foul, and how is it his fault that their player hit it spot on and scored what was a good free kick. Secondly, what does that even matter, we won 5-1 ffs. "Quite frankly I cannot forgive Pardew" = Overreaction of the day so far.

Always get them away from home, never for home games though.

Just posted this on the Pompey Takeover Saga thread but it is relevant here as well. Gordon Brown said it is a "sad day for a great football club". What planet is he on?! Was it not a sad day for Saints when we went into admin. What about Palarse? Brown didn't wade in then so why is he saying it now about the no-bit embarrassment that is the skates. It's a sad day when a soldier dies in Afghanistan, not when a financially mismanged football club goes into admin. T*sser. On a slightly more lighter note, found it funny hearing Pompey fans approach Storrie on the radio. "1.2 million a year Storrie?! 1.2 million a year. Explain that mate. You're 'aving a laff mush" Was hilarious
