  1. If the govt. didn't tax petrol so heavily they could reduce the price per litre by up to 50p.
  2. I done it a few days ago and we were 1 point off the play off spots.
  3. Form we're on there's no reason why we can't win 11 of the next 12, but we can't afford to have any Tranmere/Wycombe-esque cóck ups, obviously.
  4. Go out, get trashed, wake up, think "why the f*ck did I do that", say you'll never drink again, drink again, and repeat. That's my life.
  5. Just had a piece about him on the Late Kick Off (interview and that..). Seems like a real top bloke, and a legend.
  6. Norwich Charlton --------- Millwall
  7. I really hope he makes it to the Premiership. So everyone can see how sh!te he is, and he can fall about diving and crying and then everyone will hate him. Result.
  8. Chose One Vision, as I can't stand Green Day/U2's version of The Saints Are Coming... The Skids version is much better, would have that any day of the week if it was a choice.
  9. So essentially, you want it like stadium:mk... The top tier can accommodate 10,000 more fans, but is closed and not yet finished, which makes the ground look sh!t and empty.
  10. Is the video being voiced by a robot?! Well interesting though, that sort of stuff, mind boggling also. How people can say we are alone in this universe I don't know. Each one of those galaxies have millions of stars in it. Each one of those stars could have numerous planets around it, just like our sun. It's fascinating and mind boggling and quite scary. We're so insignificant.
  11. Fell asleep during Human Traffic last night. It seemed good but I was too tired, will definitely have to watch it all the way through at some point, just like all the other films I've fallen asleep during.
  12. Also 14-16 year old kids thinking they are hard cos they are drinking.
  13. "sons David and John also being partners." ...Incest?
  14. Protector
  15. Didn't realise we had this game until I was told yesterday. Looking forward to it as I was at the away game in August. That game will long live in the memory as one of the worst games I've ever witnessed, so hopefully we can get a bit of revenge. We're at home, we're on fire at Fortress St. Mary's. I can see it being 2-0 Saints as well. Puncheon and Lambert to score.
  16. We took 3000 in the JPT, and that was midweek. There's no reason why we shouldn't take the same amount. Bet we don't.
  17. After witnessing the shambolic refereeing of the Tranmere game, and then yesterday's embarrassingly awful referee, I am very tempted to write to the Referee's Association or whatever it is and make a complaint. It's not on that we, or any other team, should suffer disadvantages in what should be an unbiased match just because a referee is incapable of doing his job properly. Like someone else said, if I was that bad at my job, I'd get the sack. Luckily, each game has someone in the stand with a clipboard who rates the referee's performance. If they have a terrible game, then they will get a warning or something like that. I hope we never see Mr. Quinn (Tranmere) or Mr. Walton (Leeds fan) ever again. Disgrace.[/rant]
  18. First half we were a class above Leeds, no argument about it. Puncheon was making a mockery of their left back's defensive capabilities and our whole midfield finally looked like something had 'clicked'. Hammond had another good game and Schneiderlin once again played brilliantly. Lallana was all over the park chasing the ball and never gave up. Agree with the comments about Lambert; he was suberb. His hold up play, knock ons, passing, creating chances from nothing and general presence shows his quality. Obvious statement but he is a class player. Loved it that Dan Harding got the winner. Ex-Leeds and if I remember correctly he ran in front of the Leeds section with his hand to his ear? Brilliant. Fonte and Jaidi were class and very professional. Thomas did a good job when he came on as well, even if there was a tiny bit of communication issues with Fonte. First half we made dirty Leeds look very average, although they improved in the second, I didn't think they'd equalise. One shot on target the whole game says it all really. Referee was a joke. Never seen a ref get booed like that at half time. 'Nuff said. It's Sunday afternoon and I am still buzzing from the win. Like Pardew said, it was a professional performance, and to be honest we could have been 3-0 up at half time. Having said that, it was only 1-0, but we did what we needed to do to get the win. And what a win it was.
  19. Cheers hamster, I already knew that though However, if I do get buried then I plan to have one of these contraptions, 50% it being a novelty item, and 50% it being deadly serious... I wouldn't have a tiny bell though, I'd have a massive air raid siren which could be heard for miles. You know, just incase...
  20. Haha but I am being serious.. You can find loads of articles on Echo website about the council pondering over the idea of returning the tram network (which incidentally ended after the second world war ). Personally I think it would be good to have a tram network. Manchester and Sheffield have them, and the one in Sheffield is very efficient.
  21. Wasn't there supposed to be a tram network built in town? They could easily link it up to St. Mary's / New Ground, just like what they have in Sheffield.
  22. I just feel that the current location is good. It's in the part of town where the club was formed all those years ago, there is a plethora of pubs not too far away and yes the station is a mile away, but it doesn't take that long to walk there does it. Traffic is just part and parcel of a Saturday afternoon I don't know if you go to any away games, but going to places like stadium:mk and Colchester's ground, which are both in the arse end of nowhere, is not very pleasant. There are no pubs, and the only things nearby is a field, a McDonald's, and a motorway. There's no atmosphere or culture, unlike a stadium which is slap bang in the middle of the city in which it's based.
  23. I saw it on BBC South Today
  24. Even so, if it was outside the city it would be sh!t.
