I heard the person who organises the council tax is a Little B!tch. It's no surprise there are Gangsters hanging outside the Nite Klub in the Concrete Jungle that is Southampton with the way the council is being run. Too Much Too Young in a Stupid Marraige, paid for by your tax, which the special constables don't have to pay. At the end of the day it's an opinion and it's Up To You, but It Doesn't Make It Alright, and You're Wondering Now whether or not the special constables should be exempt. I ****ing love The Specials.

25,000 empty seats are required to keep apart fierce rivals Southampton and Carlisle, with their notorious and bloody history spanning decades, involving numerous battles and widespread media attention. Duh. But seriously, it's ridiculous. That's a third of the stadium FFS. Just because the FL are too scared to fork out extra funds, they are sacrificing what could be a near full house and a great advert for the cup many consider to be a joke trophy.

Yeah that is fair enough IMO. They're Saints fans. This lad I know says he is a Man U fan. He even said last night he didn't even like football, he just wanted to see Wembley. It's these people who won't know songs, won't know the squad etc that will annoy me. If they genuinely support Saints, that's fair enough. If they don't, then they don't have a place in our section.

Here's a conversation I had last night at work Me "Do you fancy covering me on the 28th? I'd quite like to go to Wembley..." Colleague "Oh! I want to go to Wembley too! I dunno mate" Boss "I don't know if you'll be able to get tickets, you aren't on the database" Colleague "Oh right.. This may sound dumb but.. Who are we playing" Boss "You want to go to Wembley, and you don't know who we are playing?!" Me "We're playing Man Utd!!" Colleague "Really?! I might support them then" I wonder how many people in our section at Wembley on the 28th haven't seen Saints this season (or ever, even). I wonder how many people in our section don't actually support us? It's a shame, but I guess it's an inevitability.

Yeah, agreed. Everyone around me was sat and hardly muttered a word all game. There was a group of blokes behind me and to the left who tried starting songs but hardly anybody joined in. Very poor atmosphere indeed.

I'd rather have a stand full of people singing songs, standing, having banter and showing some passion, than a stand full of people sitting there, blanket over their lap and not saying a word all game. And I'm not the only one.

I'll suggest a reason or two why there's so much talk about them from Saints fans. 1) We've recently played them, and we got beaten. 2) Last season we entered administration, and the amount of stick I got (and I am sure many other Saints fans got) from the Blue Few was unbelievable. They took great pleasure in taking the p!ss about our demise, our financial situation, or match results, EVERYTHING. And now, it seems, the tables are drastically turning. Suddenly, we're financially stable and are winning more games than we're losing. Suddenly, they are in admin and staring relegation in the face. There's nothing wrong in giving back some of that stick that we got, and in fact, it's bloody great. Who cares if people think we're obsessive. No more obsessive than other rivalries I am led to believe. Pompey are in the sh!t, let's enjoy it while it lasts.
