Or, Koeman didn't want to bring on a non-100% fit player (returning from injury) for too long while the game could still go either way.
-
I missed the game due to work... what formation/s did we play and what positions did everyone play? Cheers!
-
Of course! And you came to the forum specifically to tell us this. How kind.

You joined this month and all of your posts are about SportsNationHD. Something makes me doubt your impartial recommendation.

So, are some people who paid for PLP still able to use it? I had the week's free pass and loved it, so really hoping I can find a way in without then getting banned. Perhaps a red flag is more likely to pop up when they see people paying in Taiwan (using HOLA), then watching in New Zealand (through Unotelly). And that flag then causes further investigation where they find out you're faking your location. Perhaps if you just sign up, pay and watch in New Zealand (all through Unotelly), then you won't get red flagged and will fly under the radar. Has anyone who paid the New Zealand rate been banned yet? Thinking of trying that to watch the game today (exiled in South Korea, in Busan, where Chrissy Marsden had a short-lived stint!) Whoever is stll in on PLP, let me know!

Agreed, but I think everyone saw that, and expects that every game from Yoshida (looking forward to Gardos coming in). I was just surprised a Liverpool fan picked up on him as a weak link in that game, as he wasn't directly responsible for any goals.
-
Funny, but odd considering that Yoshida wasn't at fault for the goals :-/
-
I'm not sure I follow...

OK, let me rephrase that to a "an experienced centre forward with a good goal-scoring record" then ;-)
-
You'd hope that a centre forward would put some more power into the shot and get it further away from the keeper's body. But we'll never know.
-
But at least if he'd have tried the ball to the right, Pelle would have had a chance to make something of it. In the end JWP played the ball in completely the wrong direction.

Agreed about that run off the back of Lovren. JWP seemed to notice it, think for a moment, and still pass it down the channel. A little odd.

No time to prepare a shot? That's the most time you'll ever have in a Premier League game to set yourself to shoot. And I'm saying that as a Davis fan... if Long comes into the team to give us more pace up front, it would be a very hard to choose between Davis or JWP to drop, for me.

If on the basis of extended highlights you voted Clyne as our MoM, then clearly they missed some pretty important stuff out on those highlights!

Agreed, same team, Long instead of Davis or Ward-Prowse. And we'll win.

Yep, for me Davis and Clyne were the most at fault for their winner. Clyne lost his man. And Davis let little Sterling beat him to a header he had so much time to get ready for... in fact, he barely even challenged for it. I love Davis as a player, but his two major mistakes cost us 3 points, not just 1 :-( Ah well, he'll prove he's better than that as the season goes on.

I still feel he was in part responsible for the first Liverpool goal. Henderson wanted it more than Morgan... that wouldn't have happened last season.
