  1. I'm surprised he'll never forget it, considering his "blink and you'll miss it" stay at the club.
  2. Looks like Lovren caught a bad case of the Lallanas.
  3. Explain exactly how it was avoidable and we might believe you.
  4. You don't know that for sure. An equally possible theory is that one reason Koeman was brought in is that Tadic, Pelle (and others perhaps still to come) were already targets, and it was believed that Koeman being here would facilitate their arrivals to Southampton.
  5. Never heard of a Burnley dozen before?
  6. That would be Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation, completely different kettle of fish.
  7. Exactly. I think the only other thing to add is what an excellent job the board have done to get this transfer wrapped up, right?
  8. Clattenburg was right. Simple, effective, with a sense of humour. I'd happily chip in some money for a good design.
  9. Well, I'm a Saints fan, but if Barca came in for me, I'd choose them. There's a similar gap in class between NOB and Saints. Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  10. I guess he's given up on football then. Crap league. Seriously, awful. Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  11. I've just realised that I arrive in England for the first time in a year or so on the morning of the 17th May. It's fate I tell you. I wonder how much tickets will be selling for on ebay...
  12. Any danger of this being on TV anywhere in the world?
  13. Yep, people from many different teams on reddit.com/r/soccer are also calling it a red.
  14. Paul Telfer would HAVE written that sentence correctly too. Talented guy.
  15. Yep, he did. And it wasn't as reckless as Brown's challenge today.
  16. Yep, Brown is a thuggish slogger and he knew he had to take Gaston out to save the game. I'm sure if he got a red card for it he, and his manager, would have still thought it worthwhile.
  17. The gif isn't stuttery at all, in fact it is the best quality replay I have seen anywhere since the game. It clearly shows that Brown either makes no contact with the ball, or if he does, it is a feather like touch on the way to taking out Gaston's ankle (and is irrelevant anyway). A good quality video replay from the same angle the gif is taken from would show the same.
  18. I don't know, I think Foy is a ****, but in this case from the angle he saw it, I think it could look like Brown got to the ball first, and perhaps the reckless contact on Gaston was shielded from his view by Brown's body. The wrong decision by Foy, but I can understand why he didn't give it.
  19. It wasn't in the box. The "foul" was committed in the D, just outside the box. And can't believe people are still saying that Brown got a touch on the ball when the gif on this thread clearly shows he didn't.
  20. I agree. But the BT replay was not from the best angle. The one on this thread shows Brown got very close to getting the ball, but Gaston kicked it before him and then immediately got taken out. Unfortunately the ref doesn't have access to replays from better angles that we do. Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  21. Repeating myself here, but the replay posted on this thread suggests otherwise. I can't see Brown touch the ball at all, it is kicked forward by Gaston first and then Brown trashes through his standing leg. Red card tackle anywhere on the pitch, more so considering the location. Hard to tell intent from Brown, but when the challenge is so reckless then intent is irrelevant. .. dangerous play, had to go. However I can understand how the ref might have missed it from his angle of sight. Where was the linesman? Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  22. Have you watched the replay on this very thread? He doesn't get the ball. Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  23. Nice or not (and I have no idea what he's really like, and I doubt many, if any, on here really do) he has been a key player in saving our club and putting us in the healthiest position we've been in in my adult life. Can I be the nth person to say that if Cortese leaves it would be extremely disappointing.
  24. Buenos Aires, Argentina. Been here for almost 9 years, and just as the locals are starting to notice us more due to improved performances, Pochettino, Gazzaniga (ugh) and Gaston, I'm leaving. Heading to live in South Korea later this year.
