  1. We controlled the game and should have won by more, and yet we were lucky?
  2. It'll look even better if we beat West Brom. Sent from my GT-I9190 using Tapatalk
  3. He didn't just have a bad game... he just didn't seem to put the same effort in as usual. And that was after missing the last game though suspension, so you would expect him to be raring to go. I honestly think something's up, who knows what it could be though.
  4. Beaten by a much better, more expensive team with a quality manager. Chelsea are the only team to comprehensively outplay us this season, and now they've done it twice (and in the 2nd half after tactical changes on both occasions). As others have mentioned, something seriously wrong with Morgan today. He looked like he couldn't be bothered. Very strange.
  5. Illustrates what we all know - what a big miss Boruc has been: http://www.barriesview.com/2013/12/2013-14-premier-league-goalkeeper-stats
  6. We're playing quite well apart from JWP who is having a mare. We really miss Schneiderlin.
  7. Not sure if it was posted about on here, but the Cardiff - Saints game AND all the other Premier League games were on Al Jazeera the other day. Seems like the problems before are over. Glad I stuck with the service ;-)
  8. Because Begovic is arguably as good and is a much longer-term option.
  9. I live in a country where the only way I can watch games is online. If I have a chance to watch a quality stream, I'll do it, because I want to watch my team. The problem is the Premier League who don't ensure that there is a legal way for someone to pay to watch any game anywhere in the world, NOT the fan who circumvents the idiotic system so that he can watch his beloved team. 10. In response to Phil, what makes him think that Saints fans in Dubai have any more right to watch Saints live on TV than Saints fans in the rest of the world?
  11. Well, to be fair Wanyama DID already score from a corner this season, it was just disallowed because the ref decided that 2 wrongs make a right :-/
  12. I still think Cork, Wanyama and Schneiderlin would be good for tough away games, when big vic is back. Morgan could have an even more free role to press from the front and get involved in all attacks. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  13. Crap, so it seems like he'll be playing next week. Really fancied our chances if they didn't have Cabaye. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  14. Chambers was good but not the best of the full backs today in my opinion, Shaw offered a lot more going forward and put in some great crosses (one of which Chambers should have buried), and also Chambers I think was partly at fault for the goal, he was slow to react to the ball down the side. Considering he hasn't played for a while and the opposition, still did very well, but with Clyne in the team I think we might have won today. I had Shaw, Cork, Lallana and Davis all close for MOM. Great performance overall, amazing goal from Dani... but he was wasteful with the easier chances. Deserves to stay in the side though.
  15. Fixed it for you.
  16. Well I've just referred to two people on here who think it was. Can you read? Don't answer, rhetorical question. I won't be answering you again. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  17. I think no one protested apart from him because they were all so amazed at the ridiculousness and idiocy of Boruc. It took several replays for me to notice the sneaky push. So I suppose maybe I can forgive the ref for not noticing it (even though it is his job). Of course not a foul in the middle of the park. But goalkeepers always get far more protective treatment, rightly in my book. It was a foul. But understand how it could be missed. Though I still doubt it would have been missed down the other end. 18. I'm referring to the post I quoted originally. For further clarification see the past immediately below your latest post. Giroud gets the ball with his foot, but pushes Boruc over at the same time. Can't touch the keeper like that. At least, that's the way it always used to be. Definitely a foul and no goal down the other end. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  19. Good argument Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  20. I'm not excusing Boruc at all, he was a complete idiot, but there more I watch the loop of the gif, the more it looks like a foul by Giroud to me. Especially when you consider that usually ANY kind of touch on a keeper means a free-kick.
  21. No judders etc on the Al Jazeera stream (on a windows pc) today, perfect! Had it set up with a projector on the wall too, just as good as watching on TV, and a great performance too!
  22. He's no Jordan Rhodes, that's for sure.
  23. Good solid win, nothing impressive but the kind of game we would have lost or drawn last year. Saul Goodman on our defence (apart from Fox): "Only the very best, with just the right amount of dirty"
  24. I thought it was a good save at the time, but this photo shows just how good it was. Very athletic, looks like he is only just going to get his fingertips to it, and yet his gets a strong hand on it to direct it well out for a corner. I went for Lovren as MOM, but really it could have been him, Clyne or Boruc... all immense today.
  25. Watching the Chelsea - Fulham match now... announcement going across the bottom of the screen "this programme is only authorised for viewing in the middle east and north africa". LOL. I like to think they are putting that there especially for me :-)
