I had to go to Oldham last year to get a length of wide bore steam pipe bent 30 degrees (only place in the country that could do it), I'm sure you'll be interested to hear. Whilst waiting for the job I wandered around the stereotypical 'Coronation Street' style terraced back streets of Oldham and found an excellent cafe that still sold pint mugs of tea. It was a glorious sunny day which can make the world's worst sh1thole feel acceptable (oh alright, Skatesmouth excepted). I could see the ground from where I was but did not venture closeby. On Saturday I shall return and seek out this cafe. Now to find a another piece of pipe that needs bending while I'm watching the football.
