In order to save money, I have been booking train tickets well in advance to get some kind of discount. I've just got a good 50% discount for Colchester away from Trainline. The thing is these tickets require you to travel on a specific service on a specific day, or they are not valid. It has suddenly dawned on me that some matches (Leeds?), and especially those towards the end of the season, if things go as we hope, may get moved because of live coverage. Does anyone know the rules governing this? What is the minimum time in advance that Sky has to advertise this, or has it all been done for this season so I don't have to worry.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s, I used to religiously make up tapes from the John Peel show, editing live on the cassette. There were so many good new bands coming through at that time, you couldn't go wrong. I still have these cassettes. Would anyone be interested in me editing these onto more modern technology?

I would say although things on the field did continue to get worse after the takeover, and bottomed out at Swindon, this was coupled, IMHO, with a certainty, not present before July 8th, that this was only a temporary state of affairs, and that the pendulum had irrevocably swung in our favour.

Agree totally, how many people actually tune in to see the presenters? They've got a massive amount of games to show, so every second should be used showing them! This topic came up a while ago and I actually timed a show and nigh on a third of the programme was taken up not showing football!!
