By way of an update on that, when I went to the office window Saturday lunchtime to see if I could relocate, the person at the window knew nothing about it. I explained what I knew and watched as she moved around the office asking her colleagues. Although I cold not hear, I could see much shaking of heads. Then a chap entered and joined in the converstion and it was obvious that he knew what the deal was. He had a word with me to confirm and then sorted it. I asked if the club could issue an official update as there were concerns along the lines of yours, and he said he would do that.

No, I didn't. He was aware that I was a Sky subscriber already. He then went into a list of things that I would be covered against, damage or breakdown of equipment etc. He then said my cover was due for a 12 monthly renewal. At that point I told him that I had not been with Sky for 12 months and knew nothing of any cover payment. He was polite and apologised and said he would get back to me after that period. I did not give him any bank details. I have contacted Sky about the call.
