Her lyrics and voice are powerful enough (as always), but the album performed live is almost overwhelming. I saw her earlier on the tour and I've got tickets for both nights at the Albert Hall. Not like I'm obsessed or anything.

Polly Jean Harvey on the Andrew Marr show last Sunday. Some bloke called David Cameron as well. The Last Living Rose http://www.twentyfourbit.com/post/10945307260/video-pj-harvey-performs-for-david-cameron-last Let England Shake is fast becoming one of my all time favourite albums.

Us Somerset folk be wary of youm Devon folk. Some days I wanders up to the border hedge and looks over to see wat 'tis youm up to. Then I wanders off again.

Give Salisbury a miss in the mid afternoon. Bath can be hell too at that time. A34 then M4 and then only a short crawl round the top of Bristol. No idea about Cardiff outskirts though.

What a freakin' day - bad karma all round. Underground cockup meant I had to speed walk from Hammersmith to Paddington, just made the train at Euston. Window seat my arse - bulkhead seat! Carriage full of Spuds fans going to Wigan. Lol as they all got off wearing T-shirts in the ****ing rain at Wigan. Train late into Preston so connection missed - got caught up in a gaggle of Tranmere yoof who noticed the badge!! Late into Burnley so planned canal/industrial heritage explore cancelled because I had to get a phone to replace my Nokia N8 which went mammaries skywards (thanx Ovi you barstewards) on the train up. Missed the second half when at half time I suddenly realised I'd left my bank card in the TMobile shop FFS!! As I walked into town I heard the roar and thought 'that'll be Austin scoring then'. Watched/listened to the rest of the game from the top of the hill near the station and heard the Saints massive when we equalised. Salvaged something out of the day with a good yarn with a Huddersfield fan on the way back to KX. Sooo, the question is - was I there when Morgan scored (again)?

That Mick Channon will never amount to anyhting, not in football or any other sport. Luckily there was no interweb back in 1966 so I think I got away with it.

Sunday Fail reports that he is conscious and able to talk.

He went into the doll's house in the cupboard and only The Doctor can save him now.

...topped off with lashings of axle grease. Ooops wrong thread.

There would be no need if more fans took their seats before 2.59pm. I am already seated, waiting patiently for the kick off next Saturday. I am in stasis, my hands placed equidistantly upon my thighs, my feet parallel and touching, my back supported correctly by my seat. My head is level and I am looking STRAIGHT AHEAD.

Much talk of the need to have another CB and also uncertainty of FR at RB. How's about moving him into the centre? He's a big tall lump and (for a CB) fast.
