Football Manager 2010 DEMO OUT NOW
mynameisthehulk replied to Matthew Le God's topic in Computer Games
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=226191 For the first time in its history, the franchise finds itself second best to Championship Manager in a number of key departments - most noticeable, training, scouting and set pieces - and while its superiority remains intact, its dominance isn't as clear cut as in previous years. Football Manager is still the best, but the chasing pack is slowly, but very surely, closing the gap. -
Those specs are not really crappy, I would use a 64 bit os f'sure

Laptops - interested to hear peoples opinions
mynameisthehulk replied to Saintandy666's topic in Technology Chat
I doubt you will get anything that will look much cop in 5 years time. For example I have at home an IBM thinkpad which is about 7 years old and would have been top top spec for 2002, but now 1ghz PIII, 30 gig HDD, 256meg ram, 8meg! shared graphics looks (and apart from for surfing/basic office use) and performs very poorly. Due to laptops having limited upgrade capacity, I would not ever buy one that you intend to last you more than about 3 years. Am not going to start on the Apple thing because I think I have made my feelings pretty clear on that issue over the time. I would look for something that has around 500 gig hdd, 4 meg of ram and a dual core processor around the 2-2.5 ghz mark, and if possible dedicated graphics. Also a Bluray drive and HDMI out. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/169018 Is and example, although I am sure you could find the same specs a lot cheaper by avoiding Sony, who I am told make shyte laptops anyway. -
How much you willing to pay per unit?

I got 4.56% fixed for 5 years in May this year, with no set up fees. £595 is not bad for conveyancing.

You may need to stop supporting the unpopular and slagging off people who most regard as legends, just to get a rise on the innernetz. It really is very odd, and a little sad. I hope you are ok and that you don't actually have the catastrophic mental health issues that it appears you suffer from.

Yeah, as they don't have the offside law in Serie A. Jesus wept.

The Arcade version is just a premium with no HDD, so should have HDMI as well?
