You haven't got a clue sadoldgit. Last week i had a fiver on Papa Waigo to score the last goal against Exeter. With 5 minutes to go i had £40 waiting for me at Ladbrokes. With seconds to go Lambert hit the bar. I cheered the fact he missed. I collected my £40 five minutes later. For Jonah it was a similar scenario with him caring more about himself than the good of SFC. If ever there was a good reason why PLC's and football are a bad idea you only need to look to Jonah.

Jonah invested heavily in Southampton Leisure Holdings. SLH has gone pop. Jonah has vanished.

I'll be buying a cheap ticket for the home game against MK Dons. I probably won't bother going but it's the safe way to guarentee a seat for the final.

Is this thread some kind of sick joke? Rupert died.

I was expecting this to be a boring away day and it was. The Norfolk was OK before the game and the shuttle bus scheme worked well. As for their stadium it was exactly what i was expecting because that's all these small lower league lubs can afford/fill. However the worst part of the day was our support and how our team played in the first half. In respect of our support it was a classic supporters coach atmosphere. I can't get my head around what possible pleasure can be got out of travlling down on a supporters coach and arriving 1 hour before k/o - judging by the dour and lifeless showing they put in the answer is none.

Leeds are simply a cut above everyone else in League 1. Despite the rubbish quoted from various sources suggesting that we matched them toe to toe they absolutely murdered us last week. Colchester are a good side, but i'll be very disapointed if we don't go there and take the game to them. Second half against Exeter we took our foot of the gas in preparation for this game so i can't see us being as knackered as we could have been. I expect a win. 2-1. Up the Saints.

From what i've gleaned from on here and other sources the best place to park is at the train station (for £2 all day (should be Sunday rates it being a BH)) and then get a shuttle bus to the ground (£1 return). At the station there's pubs where i may have a shandy or two. Am i right in thinking this is COLCHESTER NORTH that I need? If so here's the link for all the info you'll need... http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/col/details.html And the postcode for your sat navs is: CO1 1XD

I'm disgusted with the behaviour of certain pr1cks at the game yesterday. I made 400 mile round trip to this game and that's the welcome you get from these super dooper supporters. I made the mistake of sitting in block 42 (should've gone for block 41 which never used to be full of ****s) and witnessed clowns clad head to toe in club merchandise passing comments to the effect of the atmosphere being w4nk because of plastic fans. When you get some jumped up kids waving their arms about trying to marshall you into singing or to hurl insults at the away fans i don't know about anyone else but this inclined me not to sing and to watch the game instead. I'll be *****ed if i'm going to be dictated to by a bunch of teens who're barely out of their nappies. Football is bloody expensive and if some fans have chosen to stop going because the day out isn't as good as it was in our premiership days then that's their choice, and if they choose to go to the odd game then that's their choice also. They should be treated with respect because the chances are these fans have all done their fair share in following the club at some point in their lives and situations do change when you've got a family to feed or simply because you don't want to spend sh1t loads on footie every week. It's alright for these teens to gob off, but they haven't the slightest clue about the real world. I'm no super fan and i've never claimed to be one, but i've done more than my fair share of supporting the club over the years and this season i've done 2 homes and Colchester will be my 9th away. I won't be sitting in block 42 again - the minority of gobby cvnts that have claimed this block can have it. I reckon i'll sit in in the Northam/Kingsland corner in the future as it looked quite good yesterday and i'd imagine it wouldn't appeal so much to the tw4ts.
-
Ha Ha, i'm guessing you're a block 42'er. If it makes you feel any better what i will say is that the Kingsland and the Chapel were just as rubbish as i remember them.
-
Question: Is our away support better now than it has ever been because home games are so boring to go to now? In my post above I commented on the number of nobs that now infest the Northam and I reckon this is a big reason why more and more people are going to away games. I just hope the forementioned nobs don't start travelling. St Marys is a nice ground and all that, but it's also lacking the necessary factors to make it a great experience. Note to Nicola Cortese - BUY THE LAND OPPOSITE THE ITCHEN STAND AND BUILD US A PLEASURE BEACH.
-
I don't get down to many home games, but decided to sit in block 42 for this one. Is it usually full of nobs? Heard several comments from uber fans about how quiet it was, obviously these gob****es were having a dig at new faces in the crowd. And got sat next to some gobby teen who thought he was the big man giving a running commentary. Thank **** for the away games where you don't get these w4nkers. I used to love the Northam, but it's full of idiots now.

Merry Christmas everyone, but an extra special Merry Christmas to my extra special friends nineteen canteen, duncan and view from the top.

I'd planned on getting the train, but after reading up on it (miles from the station) and the fact i MUST get a train out of Colchester at 18:00 at the latest so as not to miss the last connecting train home, i've decided to drive. TBH i wish i'd not bothered because it's going to be a boring affair - always is at subuteo stadiums dumped in an industrial estate miles from civilisation.

ROFL. You lefties really do take the biscuit. We were suposedly entering a new ice age in the 1970's, but now a full 40 years on (eons in geololical terms ) we're all doomed by global warming. But just incase you lot have got it wrong again there's the latest treehuggers "get out of jail card" - That Global warming makes it colder!!!! Welcome to the wacky world of the Socialists.
-
With unprecedented (in recent times) cold weather forecast for this winter it's perfectly conceiveable that the natural warming of earths climate could have stopped. What action would the Socialist climate know-it-alls on this thread recomend then? Are we all to burn as much fossil fuel as possible to increase global tempertaures? At the end of the day Global Cooling would be a problem for British farming. But hey who cares about Britain when according to the Socialist Nuts we should only be bothered about the self inflicted problems of badly run African nations. But of course that's all our fault and a throwback to Imperial rule.

The booking "fee" only applies to credit card purchases, NOT debit card purchases. I would imagine that the vast majority use debit cards anyway so this gesture won't affect hardly anyone anyway.

Walking 4 miles along a pavement with a dusting of snow isn't exactly difficult.

Hague was nowhere near as electable as David Cameron. That bald head and silly voice let him down. Like it or not politics in this country is albout image. Cameron has the image of a leader, Brown has the image of one eyed mong.
-
Brown is such a mong that no-one is going to listen to what he says, they'll just get irritated by looking at him. BROWNS DEFORMED MOUTH BROWNS FAKE SMILE I'm all for care in the comunity, but it's going a bit far having a spastic running the country.

GREEN TAX WARNING FOR BRITAIN http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/147488/Green-tax-warning-for-Britain It's becoming crystal clear that we cannot afford to allow the clueless Socialist Brown another term in government. We are already the sick man of Europe and it is only Browns continuing reliance on adding to our debt mountain that is hiding the reality of our plight. Browns scorched earth policy is clearly designed to give the Tories a difficult time and is a calculated move by that one eyed mong. The Tories need to ditch the political brinkmanship of trying to appeal to the bone idle leftie environmental comrades. Thatcher only jumped on the MMGW bandwagon to wrong foot the lefties over clean nuclear power, now Cameron needs to say what he really thinks and ditch the Socialist instigated climate crusade.

It was just a minority that made an issue out of the Echo thing. I think Duncan is still a bit upset about losing his free season ticket and this may have influenced his stance.
