  1. It looked like she'd fused Flashdance with some MC Hammer shit
  2. None of them are very high profile, but yes, Walz is quite unknown. I expected one of Shapiro, Beshear or Kelly. Swings and roundabouts with Shapiro, shores up Pennsylvania but alienates the kids with his staunch Israel defense. He speaks eloquently and looks the part, and he's a good agitator to have on the sidelines. Walz has plenty of fire in his belly and comes across as down to earth and sincere...a complete opposite to the Trump/Vance ticket. Harris/Walz will be attacked for being 'far left' but they've got so much better range to attack the other side's out of touch, stale, negative, extreme approach. Trump is having daily meltdowns (he's understandably shitting himself) and Vance might soon be regretting his decision to come along. Dems have played it right after the crazy last few weeks. I didn't see this coming.
  3. An interesting few weeks ahead. The act of replacing him is gathering momentum. Big name celebrities and democratic house representatives and senators starting to get the ball rolling. Add Pelosi, Obama and Schumer to the list, who are reportedly for it. The majority must want it, but feeling things out as the days go by. It's risky for them as Biden managed to get through his last rally without any fuckups.....but the damage has already been done. If it happens, can't see Kamala Harris being tossed to the side. Can't do that to a black woman VP. I'd prefer to see someone like Whitmer or Shapiro (not Ben) have a go with a cleaner slate. Harris has been anonymous and is not a likable person, much like Hillary imo. Trump doing well by keeping his big mouth fairly well shut during the proceedings.
  4. I agree, she knows exactly what she's doing. Not questioning her shrewdness, she's very popular. She knows there's an audience who want to hear her take down far left thinking. I think you can be defined as mad though when you're spouting bile and batshit crazy rhetoric (to the places she goes) when you don't believe any of it in the first place.
  5. A few months ago she was kicked off right wing platform Daily Wire for spewing Nazi apologist and antisemitic/anti Israel (you decide) stuff. Attention seeking. Spouts a lot of batshit crazy rhetoric. She's a bit mad isn't she. Friends with Russell Brand. She's often talked about as a potential running mate for Trump.
  6. Just watched their set on iplayer. So good. (They should have been playing in the dark though)
  7. Not been done yet, but look up Project2025, it's coming. Watch John Oliver's video that I posted in the other 'America is a fucking great dumpster fire' thread if you like.
  8. I'd be more able than Biden and so would you. Unfortunately no politician with their eye on 2028 wanted to risk it.
  9. There wasn't anyone credible enough to get the ball rolling and start a campaign to remove him. If there was, it's very hard to successfully remove an incumbent since he's still functioning.... and political suicide if you were to fail. Way too late for that now anyway, we'll just keep sweating until November.
  10. watch us put our foot in it
  11. I did spot the Millwall (No One Likes Us) obscuring the Saints one (both above) during the game. They might have captured a bunch in that area of the stadium. It'll be Kosovo next...
  12. Cool, I can get a bump stock for my AR15 again. Happy days.
  13. He got us through the playoffs and did well. I've just finished season 2 of Wrexham where Ben Foster comes in to see them through into the league but I gather it doesn't go too well for him in League 2. Extending McCarthy's contract can only mean that he's filling in for Bazuno until he's fit or the two will fight it out for supremacy. Fuck that please.
  14. Utter anecdotal drivel. I either question the sanity of your American drinking buddies or they're all drunk. "Opening the border and ruining the economy and helping Chine, allowing wars, HMMMM." You couldn't make it up. Is this what one of your buddies blurted out in the pub as they were dribbling into their half pint and getting slammed? MAGA people are on the whole, universally thick and wouldn't know cold hard truths if it hit them in their stupid fucking faces. *For the record, I do not care for Biden, just pity those who find Trump a guiding light and the answer. It didn't work the first time. There's a reason he's a one term President.
  15. It's excellent, lots of falling on one's swords, bit like Saints' defending.
  16. Does he? He's obviously safe if we go up. Perfectly safe IMO if we fail in the playoffs. This is Ankerson's man and he's got plenty of time left before he reaches the realm of Nathan Jones failure status.
  17. Zone of Interest. Horrors of the holocaust conveyed through sound and what's just out of camera shot. Engrossing and haunting. Oh, and Oppenheimer for the second time, the night before. Needed to watch it again on the big screen before it leaves cinemas. So so good.
  18. He's just smacking his bitch up
  19. Yeahhhhh 😀 just finished both seasons. Good stuff. Here in the US, it's a trash heap of crap stagnant reality series, so watching this on iplayer featuring normal people like how this genre used to be, was refreshing. I watched 5 minutes of the US version out of curiosity and true to form, they don't half know how to ruin a good thing...full of ghastly z list reality stars being arseholes. I didn't even get to John Bercow who plays some sort of role....but I don't care.

RIP Navalny. Poor bastard. Anyone interested in his plight before he found himself in a gulag should watch the documentary 'Navalny'
  21. The Yam-Yams can stick their boing-boings up their bum bums
  22. Hopefully it's a matter of tactical timing then. Newsom is impressive and would give Trump a spanking in the debates. He's straight, are you confusing him with Buttigieg?
  23. Yup, this 'romantic' notion that she could be the chosen one is so far fetched. She's linked only by the fact that her husband and Joe were/are close...and he could have a word in the old man's ear, etc?! Oh and she's had first hand experience of the White House... Incidentally, did anyone notice Trump Jnr's recent tweet comparing her to an NFL linebacker? I'd personally like to see a bullet put in his head first. realistically, the most obvious replacement is California governor.....Arnie....no, Gavin Newsom, but he seems to have ruled himself out in this cycle. FFS. Useless, lazy, apathetic fools in allowing Trump another go.
