Spent a week in Yellowstone last month right after the floods they experienced, resulting in some sections of road that got washed away by the river banks. Vast majority of the park was reopened very quickly and to my benefit, about 50% down in visitor attendance. The geothermal activity is breathtaking and varied. bison everywhere and a few close up bear encounters. Will be back. You have to book accommodation a year before your trip if you fancy staying in the park, even if you're camping.
