Actually, it might work but possibly not if both viewers are watching on the same medium (ie both logged in to a computer) I tried on two Roku devices simultaneously and it didn't work. But it was ok with Roku and laptop.
-
Quality was messy today and the stream kept stop/starting on my Roku. Ended up plugging my laptop into the TV and it was ok. All live matches on the Gold app (so far), have appeared as replays (about 30 mins after final whistle) with no spoilers in the way. (There were 4 today, Saints being one of them) If you ditch cable/sat then you ditch NBCSports (and the NBC regular app) which will feature Saints pretty much every time we play a top 5 team. Won't work. The app will only let one login device at a time. Crafty buggers! Which is why I wish they'd reinstate the Extra Time channels for people who have purchased the $50.00 subscription. We are now paying more for a service that has gone backwards.

Very short sighted on their part. Your thoughts are replicated by EVERY Premier League fan in the USA. To be able to catch every game you now need a cable/sat subscription and the online NBC Gold app subscription. The price increase was bound to happen sooner or later, and it's not that much extra but it's the way they've done it that ****es me off. Those extra time tv channels worked perfectly. Allowed you to set them up to record (if you want to lay in on the Saturday) and use your cable/sat equipment to view (love my Tivo interface) instead of a glitchy app with lesser quality. Replays go up at about 9:30 am PST, so that's not bad if you aren't up at 7. They should have kept the extra time channels as an alternate way of viewing the games. It wasn't broke at all, but they decided to fix it.

Oh, right on! Shame we didn't get Pompey in the cup. Mr Scuff's Fish would have been nice.

Dynamic looking player. A bit 'unorthodox' from his highlights reel...but should be a lot of fun to watch and will hopefully forge a great partnership with Romeu.

I thought it was him when I heard it. (Just as I knew it was Ed Sheerin on Game of Thrones when he started singing and spat my beer all over myself when he came onto camera) Dunkirk. Stunning.

Covenant didn't sit very well with me. Was gee'd up with my renewed appreciation of Prometheus only for this one to **** it all away. We see a remake of Alien unfolding (which is no bad thing) but then Aliens, Prometheus and Frankenstein crammed in there, a bit weakly. Nice to see an original alien and facehugger again but relied too heavily on iffy CGI and we saw too much of the main creature, so effectively subtle and genuinely terrifying in the original. Bit corny, in parts, silly and it felt rushed. It'll possibly satisfy me better when I see it again though...as Prometheus did. That aside, Ridley makes beautiful looking and pulsating films and his alien universe is still fantastic to explore.

Saw Trainspotting2 the other day and really liked it. Kept it in tune to the 1996 film effectively with well used flashbacks in vision and sound that was well balanced, not over the top, but just right. Watched Prometheus again too in anticipation for Covenant and it was better after a second viewing. It's not perfect but the moviemaking craftsmanship is second to none.

That's Russia handled then. This could seriously backfire on the cun#, but amazingly, I don't think it will. I don't whether to laugh or cry anymore......

Agreed. This season's performances and achievement, for me, isn't quite enough to let him go. If we were to strengthen (and hopefully retain key players), I want to see what he can do, fresh, without 'European squad rotation' into the equation. (If of course, there is substance to the gossip and he's having 'issues', then that's a different matter)

Yeah, I quite liked watching it over here in the US. It's on TV a lot and is obviously popular hence the reason the Americans wanted to steal it. Agree though, that it lost it's appeal and turned to crap after the switch. Don't blame Ed for leaving at all. Death threats? LOL...

At least we will know where we stand with Pence and the 'This Country is a Laughing Stock' DEFCON level can be pegged back to 2.

Shakespeare's in Henderson (Las Vegas). Big screen, big sound, decent beer, breakfast and probably too many fake Mancs.

Unless you were an uberfan of any of the departed then no, I don't see celeb deaths spoiling people's year. The two that I felt sad about were Bowie and Rickman eleven months ago. Only because I was a fan of them and they had more to give and I'll miss witnessing them do it. Didn't spoil my year. Since the sixties, the notion of the celebrity exploded in music, TV and film. Massive pool of household names now, available to us on demand. Naturally then, more and more are going to pop their clogs every year and it appears that the Grim Reaper is having a grand old time. 2017 will probably be told to 'fck off' as well...

You're probably going to tell me that people die and bad things happen every year aren't you.... It's been an arse of a year.

Can everyone just stay indoors now, wrapped up, pop aspirin and stay away from sharp objects now for the next six days.... Anus horribilis 2016

Started a few years ago doing all grain brewing after a few Mr Beer kit tries. Not looked back and now using an all electric setup in mate's garage with counterflow wort chiller and kegging option. Like a lot of hobbies that involve patience and willingness to learn, adapt and improve - you'll either jump in or give up quite quickly! It can get pricey (depending on your urge to keep upgrading the equipment) but you can achieve decent results with a couple of large pots, a burner, an icebox, pump, copper tubing and some discipline. The majority of what we make (and we alternate all the time - IPAs, porters, wheat with fruit, brown ales, goses, milds, etc) is pretty decent stuff now. Won a few local medals. Biggest issue recently has been a few over carbonation issues, rather than 'off' flavours in the old days due mostly to slower post boil chill time. We also have a local home brewing club close by with monthly meet/pissups at a local craft beer pub. Other than getting drunk, it's a great way to taste what everyone else is doing and getting new brew ideas.

(very popular) Right wing weirdo media with links to Alt Right. Coupled with the statement that thin skinned Trump gave a few months ago that he intends to go after and sue media outlets he doesn't like if he deems them 'unfair'. Usually when a new administration is preparing for government they seek to come across as trying to unite a very divided nation, granted it's only been a few days since the result, but it's looking very unsettling.

Yeah, it's quite an eye opening mix of sorts hes inviting into his new house....

He was totally out of his depth again. Thought it was cool when he called Mexicans "bad hombres" though.
