  1. This. At 2-0 up I didn't expect the end result, both teams playing well, but wolves always capable of scoring as they're a better team. I still don't think we need panic buys in this window, if that's what they're going to be. See the season out, finish respectably and hopefully by then we have an effective recruitment plan in place and try to shed the deadwood.
  2. Just saw a bit of Jules Holland Hogmany and Vic Reeves was drunk as a skunk, but sort of acted the same incoherent way he does when he's cornered on his own. Agreed, fine with a sidekick (in the 90's) but offers nothing by himself. I suppose the same goes for Bob Mortimer, who clicked so well with Paul Whitehouse on their fishing show.
  3. Finished 1-1
  4. These two were great, really enjoying Armstrong's inclusion now. This is our third League clean sheet btw. Commentator on my feed said the same, but it's 3 - Shef Utd and Brighton being the other two.
  5. To keep him fresh for a game we have a better chance of winning? Everyone being paranoid that if we lose Ings to injury, we're fooked, is justified. Give him a game off (or take the bench), tell him to stay out of the kitchen and get him fresh for Palace. He won't forget where the goal is. Adams desperately needs to score a goal.
  6. Yes, the exception. Disney tainting aside, The Mandolorian, overall, is worth watching. Better than War of the Worlds anyway.
  7. I was hoping it would be a bit grittier, but then it is Disney after all. Whilst there are enough nods to the original Star Wars vibe to keep me interested, it's interspersed with silly **** you see in the recent films.
  8. It's too late for VAR to rule out Djenpo's handball right? Get in!
  9. Cue the lefties, what? Pointing out the bleedin' obvious facts to you?
  10. Gunn is right footed, you might as well put Cedric there.
  11. Yuck. Who wrote this cringeworthy sh*t?
  12. The park and rides on Mill Road and Lewes Road are smaller and fill up fast I read. I used the bigger Racecourse park and ride. Easy to get in and out of, but the sweaty ride on the bus to the ground took about 40 minutes (slowed down to a crawl the closer to the Amex we got). Still, leaving was quick and the journey through Brighton to the M23 was fast...unlike trying to get back to the M3 after a Saints home game.
  13. I'd like a ticket but I'm in Surrey (Walton on Thames) so a transaction might be tricky. I can PayPal funds instantly and collect ticket from you at the Amex - if you were going to the match anyway. Or meet somewhere in between, cash in hand. Anyway, please call or text me @ 07592 757028
  14. Daniel Greenfield is a shit journalist? Or have you cut n' pasted parts of the original article to make him look that way?
  15. It wouldn't end the epidemic but it would at least prevent known psychos from purchasing their tools of destruction so easily and legally, and limit what non diagnosed psychos could buy (ie not semi automatics). Someone hellbent on a shooting spree, determined to get tooled up, will always, potentially, have the means to do so (no matter what checks are put into place). It's those flirting with the idea of semi auto ownership, if they were no longer available legally, might be put off. A lot of the time, the shooters are socially backward and naive and have no contact with an illegal black market to call upon. This will never happen. With so many guns in circulation, can we even propose that no one has the right to defend themselves with a handgun? Assault weapons ban? Can and hopefully will be done, it's been done before. It'll probably need a Democratic majority in the Senate though.
  16. ".....it's only in the panhandle you can get away with that statement." Much applause. Big grin. Fuck you Donald.
  17. Since these mass shootings are happening more and more frequently, I'm glad people are rushing to 'score political points' instead of asking the public to sort it all out with prayer. Trump is reluctant to do anything as explained above. He is partly to blame for the increase of these incidents, as explained above. (As Shurlock succinctly points out - "Which is to say there’s a difference between having political views which are merely incidental to the crime and committing a crime on account of those views. It’s so blindingly obvious it shouldn’t need spelling out.")
  18. Where do you live PortugalSaint? I spent Augusts in the 80s and early 90s down there - mostly Armação de Pêra and a couple of summers in Praia Dona Ana. Those places didn't have a particularly large or obvious British expat community, unlike Albufeira and Luz, for example. I'm not sure what they're like now.
  19. I finished watching the series. Very interesting. Not a case I'd followed very closely before. The ring of bogus local orphanage donation scammers operating in the town just prior to the disappearance seems important. (Especially since one of them got into a family villa and was chased off, possibly appearing to be after a young child who was in the front room) Not convinced about the Morocco sighting (there have been hundreds like that) and the adult carrying away a child right by 5A, that Jane Tanner (Tapas 7) witnessed, appears to have been unrelated since there were many creches set up (including one at the Ocean Club Resort). In fact, the man in question has been likely proven to be a father collecting his child from the said creche. I don't think we'll ever find out the truth. I dare say that if she had been smuggled away, I don't fancy her chances of survival given the spotlight on this case, I can see the 'evidence' being disposed of.
  20. Get in.
  21. Is there a viable reason that the government have decided to get tough on her and her newborn when over 400 former ISIS fighters (whom I assume are mostly men) have already returned and only a handful of them prosecuted? Is she deemed more hardcore than others, since she left it so late to attempt to come back? She comes across as stupid, devoid of emotion; blank; empty, and a little cocky in the interviews. Threat to society? (More so than others who have possibly disappeared from radar since returning?) We do not know and possibly never will. Easier to tell her to **** off I guess.
  22. We can hope that Cardiff's form goes stale soon, that Ralph can learn a bit more from the team today and implement it, and a bit of sun works wonders. Hey ho. Bring on Arsenal. 1-2. Up the Saints.

    Injury Watch

i can see this being quite a nervously visited thread between now and the end of the season.
  24. He was good commentating on our games. Nice to hear him occasionally on our US NBC TV feeds. Nostalgia. Diddle-ee-deeeeeedeeeee......goal at the Dell!!
  25. Where does he think he's going? worrying that both Cedric and Bertrand might not be coming back. Faith in RH though, confident he'll work something out if he's allowed to. Shown more competence in 4 games than the last two managers during their finest moments.
