Homeland season finale just finished with a bang. It's still decent and fresh and I enjoyed this season a lot. As others have mentioned, it will run, and possibly run for god knows how long. I hope it doesn't over extend itself. Speaking of which, about to sit down to the season finale of Dexter.

I think we can at least expect a reinstatement of Clinton's assault weapons ban stemming from these recent events. This 1994 ban had a shelf life of 10 years only...f..u..c..k.. knows why it was never made permanent or instantly renewed. The president made a very touching speech tonight at the town of the massacre. He made several strong hints that things would change. Let's hope so. He should be able to run with something pretty 'radical' now, unlike after the Batman shootings which came so close before the election...

I'd like one solely to be able to do this.... Maybe next year when price comes down....and availability goes up.

One more episode of Boardwalk Empire before season three wraps up. The season finale is going to be epic judging by the penultimate episode I've just finished watching. ****ing love this show!

Well summed up. silly film but visually immense to watch, on the big screen anyway. As you say, fantastic universe and one which I want more of. Getting the DVD for the extras and give the movie another go.

I had no idea ESPN covered Monday games. Yeah, keeping away from here this afternoon and will watch with my son when I get home. I'm feeling optimistic for this one, don't know why!!! Chargers are comin' to get ya! (I still do not support a team btw, but would certainly like to see Broncos, or Chargers for that matter, make the playoffs). Have you been to any games this season? I was hoping Packers would be in the area (ie SD) to take my son to, they're not. Maybe next year.

Yep, been impressed with ESPN. Ian Darke and Macca (although I don't like them that much) at least know what to do, professionally. I can see the days of Max Bretos et el commentary style blaring through my living room again....no ****ing thanks! This is all speculation though isn't it....?

Don't like the sound of this at all. I like things the way they are. I also like delayed games. I like to watch Sky Sports News too - not sure where this leaves Fox. They'll have to slash their rates (even if they're able to take back Championship games) Of course every cloud.... If we are relegated and Fox take back Champ games (and more of them), reduce their price, that would work. My big issue is that NBC are taking charge of this, as they did for the Olympics.....
