I've been unimpressed with Obama and the democrats for their lack of backbone and inability to get things done at the right time. That said, Romney (and his magic underwear) represent how repugnant the right wing has become in the last decade. He appears to have been a pretty decent guv'ner in MA *worked well with the late Ted Kennedy) and brought about some impressive medical and abortion legislations to the state...things that he has done complete u-turns on for his campaign. No surprise. Wouldn't have voted for him anyway. Obama to win. Hard to shift an incumbent. May have done just enough in debates to sway the confused independents. Where's Cheese on Toast?

USA - 6 months FoxSoccer2Go for Free (ish)
LVSaint replied to BigShadow's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Nice find there bigshadow. If I was eastside, would be up for it, but I'm fine with delayed games or recorded live games to watch at a more sensible time on a saturday via FSC or FSP. On the 2Go service, can you stream games (on a delay) that have already been shown live? -
I fast forwarded through Argies vs Uraguay and did not see Gaston come on, which is a bonus.

Getting our monies' worth of FSP this month. Not missed a PL game yet. My son at least is getting a good taste for Saints now....just a pity (for him) we're doing about as badly as his Packers are!

Just this second heard Adkins has gone!!!

A posh Surrey one. They love it in these parts...

Yes. He doesn't come across as inspiring or positive at all, quite the opposite imo. The man's a freak.

Great idea for a movie. You need to sell that to Hollywood. Watched a bit of it on Fox Soccer but couldn't take too much of it....as soon as they started showing glimpses of Gerrard's and Rogers' family life. Something very off putting about both of them. Love to see a Saints version though.

Ah I see what you mean Rut, who'd be a Liverpool fan? Embarrassing or what?! I have no team preference still. Guess I'll take in the league again this season and see if anyone jumps out. My son, FWIW, did not chose the Packers. About a year ago (after their superbowl win), he and his classmates were given random teams to write to and see what they got back from the various clubs. He knew sod all about American Footy at the time and didn't support anyone, but quickly got sucked into it and hasn't looked back. He is no glory supporter though, he's told me serveral times that he won't be bothered if they have a bad season and get knocked down a few pegs, this way he can prove to doubters that he's not in it for the glory. Now, that's dedication! (He's only 10)

Yep,pretty conclusive that. Packers coach was fuming at the post game interview.
-
Still a bit of a neutral, I have no team but my son is ****ed off that his team (packers) appear to have been robbed by a dodgy decision at the death. Certainly seems that Jennings intercepted. Looks as though they're re-analyzing still, 30 mins after the end. Bonkers!

I noticed that too...what a grumpy old bastard!

Ah, the place where they thought they'd bought Tower Bridge only to find it was the crappy London Bridge. Can't see the attraction of Lake Havasu myself.
-
Can't really add anything to the above...loads of good advice there. Aintforever - you mentioned you wanted to take in Griffith Park Observatory. If interested in astronomy, and traveling through Furnace Creek, Death Valley on exactly the weekend of 12/13th Oct (that's a big long shot!), my astronomy posse and I, armed with some fat scopes will be enjoying the dark skies there at the airport strip. Whilst in Las Vegas and you fancied to get away from it for a few hours, there's the scenic Redrock Canyon and loop to the west and Valley of Fire to the East...recommended if you like that sort of thing. Gives you a good taste of desert scenery if the Southern Utah parks (although the magnificent Zion Park is only 3 hours northeast of Vegas) and Grand Canyon are too far out for you. Enjoy and take it easy man! That's a lot of ground to cover.

It'll be very delayed for me, won't be able to watch until Sunday evening. I can see us scoring... Hopefully more than we concede -

I saw it advertised on FSC a couple of weeks ago but wasn't paying much attention to it. Googled it, found no info on their website but ended up on YouTube where I found the free preview trailer. Looks to be across the board as there were no provider details. -

FYI - Fox Soccer Plus is available this week starting 15th sept on a free trial. Very good timing as they're showing the arse game. Was going to order the channel for the month but can hold off for now! Villa the week after is back on regular FSC. -
That kind of Glazier, phew. Thought we were about to be bought out.

Just finished Breaking Bad season 1, second series to commence tonight. I like this. Also Wallander (season 2), pretty good tv but think I would prefer the original Swedish version.
