I'm wanting to watch the Swedish original, but the US version of The Killing is good isn't it. The damp, murky wilderness of the Pacific NW is such a great backdrop for this kind of series.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - Needs full attention throughout. Heavy and gritty. Gary Oldman is brilliant.

It is good. Alas, the American version we get is narrated by a 'Baldwin brother' which spoils it a bit. Wish I'd kept with GOT in season 1, am picking it up, 5th episode into second season. Just watched a recent Have I Got (more) News For You download. Hadn't seen it for a while. Good as ever.

I agree. They could probably manage over 1000 per week with the number of volunteers who'd be interested in helping.

Make sure that they have Fox Soccer Plus - not Fox Soccer Channel. If they don't but they have Directv or DishNetwork, give 'em $15 and ask for them to add it for a month! I expect that sports bars or better still, English pubs will also have it. Best of Luck!

Think I might try the online service next season (if Saints dont fuk it up) and drop the TV services...if SSN could be available online too (dont think I could be arsed to download it everyday). Looking at the on-demand content I don't see it though.

Good for you. Are you going to use FS2GO next season? I still like the option to have the FSC channels on my TV - Sky Sports News within easy reach. Can you watch SSN with the 2Go service? The online service would be cheaper though and possibly more games available. Of course the other option for the Beeb's coverage of the game would be iPlayer. I keep meaning to install FoxyProxy on one of my computers but don't want to risk messing with the settings. I expect though it's fairly foolproof and the proxy can be easily turned on/off restoring basic settings. Anyone tried it? How well does it actually stream? (Sorry for going off topic here)

Ricky Gervias Show Third Season. Whilst Ricky has been off the boil for a number of years now, the podcasts of old are still funny. That said, the first episode of the new series was not very good. It appears that the audio material is only a year old which is why it is not as funny anymore. They needed to stick with the winning formula that was the podcasts of 8 years ago.

Not sure if FSP will have this one, I fear it'll be a different match since it's a BBC game and Fox might be forced to do what Sky do 4:30 for me. Am in two minds what to do. If we have TV coverage, tempted to record it and watch in the morning. Got a busy day on Saturday.

I'd have to get down to the front though to get the maximum exposure to it. I love the black and white cube simulations in around the middle of the video. My best bet would probably be the outdoor Greek Ampitheatre in LA, you lucky sorts are spoiled for choice for shows in the UK.

The Descendants - Quite heart warming and uplifting (for the subject matter) and a great setting, was ok. Attack the Block - Pretty good. Was hoping for a bit more substance and a little more humour from Nick Frost's character.

I have a three dongle and used it about three years ago when I came over with my laptop. It was relatively cheap but the results were pretty iffy - used in Oxfordshire countryside and other rural areas. I wasn't expecting miracles. In general, how has 3 been in recent times? Can I expect similar coverage issues? Is there a better alternative - we're talking short term fortnightly contract BTW.

Great pics. I'll be observing a perfect annular solar eclipse on May 20th, about 150 miles north of where I live. Very lucky to see it as it will only be visible in a narrow band across a small part of the West.
