Are there any English subtitles available? -
Anyone remember watching this grisly film at school in the 80s?

I think that integrating yourself into such a nice area of the country (a specific place you have targeted), will make the transition much smoother. (I'd jump at the chance of a move to the Pacific NW.) Try it for a couple of years and see how you get on. Your feelings will possibly change over the course of several years, one way or the other. The UK might become a fond memory for you as you acclimate to your surroundings and settle down. Alternatively, you may get homesick and yearn for the old days. I've also been around both sets of expats, those that have become fully native and those itching to get back home. I think I fall somewhere in between. I could move back quite happily but I'm not in any hurry. My move here wasn't an escape from the UK and I've kept close to my roots. I do get homesick, although I think it has more to do with the utmost desire to move out of the desert! (I could just as happily relocate to another region of the US too.)

Who designed that piece of poo? Are they related to the creator of Ted Bates statue mk.1?

"diddle didleee-do - Goal at the Dell!" Which way has it gone?

I think he'll like him. Hicks was left wing but was so much more than that. JJ has already stated his like of George Carlin. ("George Carlin was different. He was of a different time, when conservative America really did call the shots, kids were being drafted into the Vietnam War and racial inequality was rife. He picked on the strong, the powerful and the rich. He was gentle and intelligent. And fun.") Ok, Hicks wasn't exactly gentle, but he was a shed load of fun.

Just watched the first episode of series two of Shurlock. This could run and run, it is excellent.

I think that's all we need to know. It's his special baby and he'll do it justice f'sure. The cast looks very decent too - Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace.

Got the biggest laugh in the cinema. Good film. Prometheus trailer looked great ont eh big screen and I'm happy that Fox just announced it will get it's intended 18/R rating and will not be dumbed down for kids.

I dunno. I'd say you were the bigger bellend getting your knickers in a twist over contemplating it so bitterly really.

I'm wanting to watch the Swedish original, but the US version of The Killing is good isn't it. The damp, murky wilderness of the Pacific NW is such a great backdrop for this kind of series.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - Needs full attention throughout. Heavy and gritty. Gary Oldman is brilliant.

It is good. Alas, the American version we get is narrated by a 'Baldwin brother' which spoils it a bit. Wish I'd kept with GOT in season 1, am picking it up, 5th episode into second season. Just watched a recent Have I Got (more) News For You download. Hadn't seen it for a while. Good as ever.

I agree. They could probably manage over 1000 per week with the number of volunteers who'd be interested in helping.

Lovely stuff.

That would explain it! Thanks.

I've also been trying to search for why Forecast has been placed on the recent ****list.

Wonky - Orbital. Not really growing on me. Yppah - Eighty One. This I really like though. Mixture of electronica, guitars/drums and psychadelic vocals producing a very satisfying sound.

LOL. Ok GM, details please.
-
That's you fu.cked then. GM is da man! He tipped me off so I could stalk the team last summer at the airport in Las Vegas. I would be honoured to attend btw.

Ex-pats. What time is the Cov game for you then?
LVSaint replied to Rut's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Make sure that they have Fox Soccer Plus - not Fox Soccer Channel. If they don't but they have Directv or DishNetwork, give 'em $15 and ask for them to add it for a month! I expect that sports bars or better still, English pubs will also have it. Best of Luck! -

Forgetting what real trees and grass look like...sigh. Think I might try the online service next season (if Saints dont fuk it up) and drop the TV services...if SSN could be available online too (dont think I could be arsed to download it everyday). Looking at the on-demand content I don't see it though.
